Honestly… who would blame them when the very themes present in the film already lend themselves to retrospection on the part of the viewer and is then complicated by all of the information we have learned about the complications that occurred while it was being filmed, the way its lead actor has behaved on the sets of other projects, and the fact that it led to to dissolution of one of Hollywood’s favorite teams of collaborators.
