How do we handle areas of our life that are dying?

Life and death are central themes of the bible. To live is the right of every person, but death surrounds us. When death comes at our face through war and sickness, we are ready to fight, but the enemy likes to bring death slowly. How do we handle those areas of life that are dying slowly, like relationships, gifting and overall spiritual life?

We look at the life of the woman with the issue of blood and consider how we life was restored for her.

Should Christians be impacting others and if so, what should that impact be?

Impact is the impression or effect we have on others when we come into contact with them. Do people leave better or worse after encountering you and does that matter?

As we engage in this question, we look at what Jesus calls of us and how he lived. Our hope is that we live intentional lives that leave an impact on others and our prayer is that this sermon can give some guidance towards that aim.

Knowing aim is important. A group of people knowing their aim is powerful.

This week we consider the aim of our church and what we are doing. As you listen, consider the aim of your church. If you cannot name it, that might be a problem. How does someone begin to change?

Change is an important part of human existence and helps us look more like Christ. But for some, change is hard. Is change possible and if so, how do we start?

We look at scriptures and it reminds us that in submission, we can begin to change. First we must submit to God, then to others. As we submit, our hope is that we begin to see more clearly and look more like Christ, changing ourselves into his image.

What is success? Success is one of those words that is hard to define.

For some, it is wealth, while for others it is status. But does God have a definition of success and is there a wrong or right answer? We look at the life of Jesus and consider what truly makes someone successful. Our hope is that in understanding what success looked like for Jesus, we can model it and follow the example set for us. We don't want to be Christians in word only, but want to follow Christ in his living.

Christians can say things enough that sometimes we don't even know what it means. The Trinity is one that many have a hard time understanding or explaining.How do you explain the Trinity and does it matter if you can explain it or not?
