As A therapist I get asked a lot about how I take care of myself. Initially I want to respond with I put myself first but that's not easy because as a therapist my job is putting other people first. But I recognize that if I don't take care of myself through implementing boundaries and creating a safe place for me to relax, I can't do what I love best.....Therapy.
