    Too Long, Didn’t Listen (TLDL):

    • It is ok to give up on a dream
    • When thinking about your dream ask yourself: What are you willing to sacrifice? What is your family willing to sacrifice? Am I open to other dreams...to different dreams?
    • Masculine tells us to push, work to exhaustion, sacrifice anything to get to a dream, which can lead us down dead ends, and keep us closed off to new pathways of success.
    • Feminine says, "this is what I want, but I'm open to how I get there." Offering creative solutions, flexibility, and agility
    • Take into consideration if it is your goal, or if it was put into your head by someone/where else? (society? partner? parent? culture? religion?)
    • Reframe "failures" as "pivots"
    • Make a list of how you'll know when you've achieved your dream: Define what success looks like and feels like, so you know when you've reached that place

Are you willing to throw in. Your entire life savings, is that safe? Is that healthy

    Too Long, Didn’t Listen (TLDL):

    • We need to be our own full cup of coffee (warm, satisfying and perfectly delicious all on our own), so that when someone comes and offers us whipped cream (themselves) we can simply *enjoy* the addition to our already full cup
    • You cannot love somebody into loving themselves.
    • There is not enough coffee in anybody's mug to make up for a lack in another's, so be wary of getting into a relationship with someone who only has half a cup
    • The most successful and happy couples are not trying to save each other, they are enjoying each other
    • If you save someone over and over again they do not develop the tools to do it for themselves

  • Are you allowing the shithead in you?

Season 2 Episode 7 : Are you allowing the shithead in you?

This week Rachelle asks the question, "Are you allowing yourself to be a shithead, or are you so focused on perfection that you miss being in the present moment?"

She walks through how addiction to wellness practices (retreats, workshops, self-help books, bettering ourselves) can develop, and how that has potential to lead us into toxic positivity, taking us away from our authentic selves.

Challenging the narrative that the inner work is guiding us to our "highest self", Rachelle offers permission to put it all down, stop putting happiness on the other side of a wall, and embrace your enough-ness.

This episode is full of opportunities to build awareness and resiliency by peeling back the layers of armor, so you can get closer to your authentic self and embrace the shithead in you!

    Too Long, Didn’t Listen (TLDL):

    • Are you addicted to doing inner-work?
    • By denying or rejecting our humanness (being shitheads!) and seeking perfection, we sabotage our ability to show up authentically in the present moment.
    • Time away from "the work" helps remind us that we can handle things as we are, and have a chance to implement the tools learned.
    • By defining and focusing on 1-4 things (max) to work on, we learn to let some habits slide to make space for others
    • The purpose of inner-work isn't to make us more enlightened or worthy, but rather to expose and embrace our humanness so we can get closer to our authentic selves

*Listed below are a handful of the powerful and thought-provoking questions discussed in the episode

    • What is Home? A Person? A Place? A Feeling?
    • Can you exist in two places at once? By falling in love and finding happiness in multiple places, will we always leave pieces of our heart behind? If home is both places, which one is real?
    • Is it safe to put your heart in another person or place? What happens during times of transition?
    • Listening to the signs and messages from the Universe will guide us back Home, even (maybe especially) when our ego is telling us to stick to a plan
