    Too Long, Didn’t Listen (TLDL):

    • Book Recommendation - "Untethered Soul" By: Michael Singer
    • The Ego Voice is the voice that says "I AM..." and puts things into black and white boxes. It craves control and safety, and doesn't like to be challenged.
    • Vulnerability is strength. It is the Ego that gets scared and hears it as weakness
    • Awareness is the first step to change
    • QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER:
    • What is it you identify with?
    • What does your Ego want you to be?
    • Where do you feel like you need to prove yourself?
    • What is the Ego's greatest fear? How does it show fear?
    • How are you in relationships?
    • Are you always trying to save other people?
    • Do you find yourself wanting to be safer by having the upper hand? Or wanting people to take care of you?
    • You can change the pattern and lean into a healthier, more aligned YOU!!!

This episode reminds listeners of the importance of checking in with ourselves and prioritizing our own needs, and warns of the pitfalls that come with abandoning that inner voice. Rachelle extends her insights beyond gender, acknowledging that societal pressures affect individuals across the spectrum, emphasizing the universal relevance of the message.

    Too Long, Didn’t Listen (TLDL):

    • Cheating is not black and white.
    • Societal Pressures around sex and intimacy effect people of all genders.
    • Personal check-ins are essential!
    • PERSONAL CHECK IN: Am I engaging in sexual behaviors when it's not an enthusiastic yes? Am I doing this FOR someone else's benefit? Where is the pressure coming from?
    • Even if you're in a partnership with somebody that you love very much doing sexual things with them long term when you don't want to does damage.
    • Take inventory of your stories and allow for moments of reflection

    • "Dorito conversations," offer momentary satisfaction but a lack of depth and true connection.
    • Some Questions To Reflect On If You Have Relationships That Don't Feel Bonded or Intimate:
    • Are you holding back because you want to keep things surface level in your friendship (partnership, etc)?
    • Am I safe enough to get to a deeper level?
    • Are you not offering opportunity for deeper bonding? Is it because of habitual gossip?
    • Are you spending time with people who keep things surface level? If yes, why?
    • Do you want to change it?

    • People don't change either because they don't want to or because they don't know how.

    • Be okay turning somebody down. Even if they did something nice for you.
    • You are responsible for compassionately and honestly asserting/holding your boundaries... NOT for how people receive them. It's ok of they are uncomfortable or feel exposed.
    • Women are conditioned to put other's needs first, and we forget that somebody just getting to spend time with us is enough.
    • YOU DO NOT OWE ANYONE YOUR TIME, ENERGY, OR BODY
    • You should be able to make boundaries with somebody that has interest in you and have them be respectful that you're not interested. Period.
