Do you find it difficult to increase your prices? To charge what you're worth?
I've met countless women with money mindset issues. I myself had to change the way I think about money in order to be successful. But this week on the Sigrun Show, my guest's story goes far beyond that.
Ali Katz achieved everything she could have possibly imagined. She graduated at the top of her class from law school and worked at the best law firm in the US. She started her own law practice, then a second business, then she wrote a best-selling book and appeared on TV.
But upon joining a new mastermind, all she could do was cry. She couldn't pinpoint exactly what was wrong, but she knew that something was off, and it had to do with her motivation.
She stopped seeing the value of what she was doing. She doubted her business and herself. She constantly compared herself to others. And she was wondering: Were the people in her life only there because she was paying them money?
Ali started to indulge in fantasies, and two very different escape routes manifested in her head: One was to have $40M on her bank account and earn 5% interest per year. She believed this would make her free from any pressure she felt to make money with her businesses. The other was to walk away from everything and live on a farm.
She picked the farm.
In this episode, Ali shares how she went from having it all to bankruptcy, how she learned to feel financially liberated and you can, too, and where her path has led her today.
Ali's is a truly inspiring story and if you ever felt your relationship with money is off, you know the feeling of being at war with yourself, or just want to hear about a woman who went from one extreme to the other and bounced back again, then I'm sure you will relate to this episode.
"Money is infinitely renewable - when you know how to earn and use it wisely ." - Ali Katz

Do you use Instagram for your business? Instagram has turned into a serious content marketing, networking and audience building tool, yet it can be tricky to figure out how to attract followers and grow your account.
Zach Benson, my guest this week on the Sigrun Show, has cracked the code and grows Instagram accounts for a living. After an injury to his back that marked the end of his dance career, he spent his last money on buying 10% of a 400K Instagram account and started advertising on it. He promoted other accounts and products and today, works with top brands like The Ritz Carlton and has a network of 220M followers on Instagram.
But Zach's life wasn't always so glamorous. He was adopted when he was five months old and brought up in the countryside in Iowa, looking different from the average white American and suffering from a speech impediment.
In this episode, he tells the story of how he found his birth mother and learned Korean, how he hit rock bottom and had to start over, and how you can use the latest Instagram growth hacks to build your own following on Instagram.
Are you frustrated about not being able to grow your Instagram account? Then this episode is just what you need!
"The only way to grow your Instagram account nowadays is through shoutouts." - Zach Benson
In this Episode of The Sigrun Show:

3 Instagram Growth Hacks You Should Try Out When Growing Your Account
Growing an Instagram account nowadays is much harder than it once was. So what can average users still do to grow their accounts?
Zach says that there still are some organic ways to boost your Instagram growth, and they all have to do with creating win-win relationships and synergies with Influencers or accounts that are bigger than yours.
Here are the three Instagram growth hacks he recommends to users with small accounts to grow their following.
Shoutouts
A shoutout works like this: Someone who's in the same industry as you takes one of your graphics (an image or video), reposts it on their account, and tells his or her followers to follow you for a specific reason.
Sometimes shoutouts include screenshots of the person's profile or are tied to contests or giveaways. If you want someone to do a shoutout and our content doesn't fit this person's feed, you can also do a caption shoutout where your account would be mentioned in the caption of a picture that fits their feed better.
Shoutouts can be paid or organic. If you don't have a big following yet or aren't able to invest money into a shoutout, think about something you're good at and do an exchange of services. If your product or service is good and delivers results, you can give it to an influencer in exchange for a shoutout and as a result get free exposure on their page. There are a lot of things you could offer in exchange for a shoutout: Your own product, help with SEO or list building, getting them onto a podcast, and so on.
Hashtags
By using hashtags you make your content searchable. What a lot of users do wrong is that they apply hashtags to their posts that are too generic. Some hashtags have millions of posts on them and if your account is relatively small, you never hit the top nine posts of these hashtags because other people who have bigger accounts use these hashtags and your content won't be seen.
In order to get exposure, apply the big hashtags and then have a look at the related hashtags with less posts Instagram will propose to you. Ideally you should use hashtags that have under 1M posts on them to get a bigger chance at exposure.
Engagement Groups
In your Instagram messages, you can create an engagement group. Reach out to a number of other people in your industry and set up a group that likes and comments on each other's posts. When you get enough likes and comments over a period of time it hits the algorithm and boosts you onto the homepage everyone is consuming content on, giving your content the opportunity to go viral.
When you get likes from other people, your content will be seen on their account and by their audience, which increases your chances of gaining followers.
Are you going to try out one of these Instagram growth hacks, or have you already had success with one of them? I'd love to hear about it! You can follow and connect with me on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

How do you feel about Facebook ads?
Facebook offers a unique opportunity for online businesses to gain visibility, make sales and get new leads. But when you set up your Facebook ads, there's a lot of boxes that need to be checked. With both your money and time on the line, there's not much room for mistakes.
Rei Baumeister, my guest this week on the Sigrun Show, has figured out a method how to make $100K a month with Facebook ads - without having to launch.
He's been in online business for over 20 years, has done online marketing for Amazon and Cosmopolitan, and has tried out every strategy there is when it comes to Facebook ads.
Five years ago, he ventured out on his own and started to run Facebook ads for entrepreneurs. Today, he coaches them on how they can set up their Facebook ads effectively themselves.
In this episode, Rei shares how he came to be a Facebook ads expert, what to look out for when using Facebook ads in the future, and of course, his method of making $100K a month with Facebook ads - without launching.
Are you open to rethinking your own Facebook ads strategy? Then this episode is a must!
"People will like your ads if you think from a Facebook-user prospective." - Rei Baumeister
In this Episode of The Sigrun Show:
Want to learn more about Facebook ads? Understand why your Facebook ads are not working or how to maximise your impact through Facebook video ads.
Rei's Method of Making $100K a Month Using Facebook Ads
Rei's Facebook ad strategy boils down to one thing: simplicity. After having tried out various ads to warm up his audience before a launch, he came to the conclusion that the more steps he added to his funnel, the less people made it to the end.
Advertising freebies or posting launch runway ads wasn't efficient when he looked at his ads budget.
He also got frustrated when during the short period of a launch an ad would pick up in the last few days, and then got shut down because the launch was over.
That's why two years ago, he switched to a method that didn't involve launching at all. His goal was to reduce the stress he experienced during a launch, and spend money on ads in a more consistent way.
He decided to create an evergreen webinar he drives Facebook ads to during the whole year. At the end of the webinar, he makes his pitch: either a strategy session or a free call. During the call, he sells his offer. And that's all there is to it - no seeding, no warming up, no nurturing.
Analysing how his webinar went weekly, he tweaks and optimises it whenever he sees potential for improvement. If there were a lot of drop-offs during a specific part of the webinar, he switches out that part.
Obviously drop-offs happen, especially with a cold audience. But Rei argues that having fewer steps in his funnel gives his audience fewer occasions to drop out. He fits the people who do drop-off into one of these three scenarios:
For each scenario, Rei has an email campaign ready in order to follow up with them. If he notices that certain emails have lower opening rates, he optimises them just like he does with the webinar.
The benefits of Rei's method are that you only have to set this up once and it works throughout the year - however, you might miss out on the excitement and energy a launch can bring.
Rei says that by constantly optimising his webinar, his conversion rate reaches up to 20%.
Are you going to try out Rei's Facebook ads strategy? Let me know what you think about advertising an evergreen funnel versus launching. You can follow and connect with me on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Is it possible to be successful in love and business at the same time?
High achieving women know exactly how to get what they want when it comes to business, but sometimes struggle to have the same success with their romantic relationships.
When Sami Wunder was finishing her master's degree in Germany 10 years ago, she knew what she wanted from life: A successful career and a family with children. However, when she started looking for a serious partner, she soon found her dating life to be a disaster. No matter how many times she tried, things would never move forward with the right man. After a few months in she would realise it wasn't the right match, or would end up heartbroken herself.
She decided to understand what was making it so hard for an intelligent, attractive, sensitive woman to find love and studied the differences between men and women. She learned what attraction really means and how important it is to embrace her feminine side.
9 months after shifting her mind, she met her future husband. Now, they're happily married for seven years and have two children.
Finding herself in a foreign country after her husband accepted a job in France, Sami decided to start her own business helping successful women with what she had mastered herself: Finding their happily-ever-after.
Her business was born in 2016 and today, has grown into a multiple 7-figure business. So far, she has successfully helped 192 women find their right match.
In this episode, Sami shares the reasons why successful women struggle with their romantic relationships and the limiting beliefs they experience. She talks about how to attract the right match and how to deal with being more successful than your partner.
Are you wondering how high achieving women can be successful in love AND business? Then this episode is a must!
"Our relationships can only go as deep as the love we have for ourselves." - Sami Wunder
In this Episode of The Sigrun Show:
Want to hear how I found love? Hint: It was at a Tony Robbins event.
How to Attract the Right Match as a Successful Business Woman
Attracting the right partner starts with your own beliefs. When a woman who is successful, driven and ambitious experiences repeated failure and rejection when dating, her mindset starts to get negative around men and what's possible for her.
Sami says that many of her clients experience the same limiting belief: Success pushes potential partners away. If you've ever experienced this belief, here are two ways to get over it:
Believing that your success scares away romantic partners would lead to the conclusion that you have to give up on your dreams and dial down your own success in order to find love. That's not the right approach. Instead, embrace the belief that it's absolutely possible to have amazing business success and amazing love at the same time. Sami has it. I have it. And you can have it, too.
When women become successful, they tend to identify a lot with that success. Unintentionally, they become ego-led in their interactions with a potential partner. They show off how amazing they are - and even though this doesn't necessarily put off the other person, it doesn't establish a connection with them either. The right partner won't care about your success, but a real connection. That's why you have to stop identifying so much with what you've achieved and show up as the true person you really are.
It doesn't mean you have to dumb down or pretend to be something you're not. It simply means showing vulnerability. Instead of presenting the high-achieving, action-taking boss you are in your business, show your vulnerable, soft, and feminine side.

Have you ever struggled with your own productivity?
Penny Zenker, my guest this week on The Sigrun Show, is a business strategy coach who helps her clients focus on the most important areas to grow their business, be more productive and make more profit.
When Penny's father passed away unexpectedly when she was 19 years old, she learned how to get clear on what was truly important to her. She shifted to only doing what brought her joy and gave her a sense that her time was well invested.
Creating solutions that would improve processes soon became her passion and she went on to build a multi-million technology business. But she felt herself burning out and thought about the 80/20 rule: Was she really focusing on those 20% that would get her 80% of the results?
To be able to make her family her main priority and spend more time with her children, Penny decided to do things differently and started a coaching business. Today, she helps her clients to think and act more strategically and be more productive.
In this episode, Penny talks about how you can focus on growing your business and making a profit at the same time, and how you can improve your productivity every day. She also reveals the 8 profit levers you can apply to increase the profit in your business.
If you want to be more productive and increase the profit you make with your business at the same time, this episode is for you.
"One of the key things that helps us be more productive is structure." - Penny Zenker
In this Episode of The Sigrun Show:

8 Profit Levers That Help You Become More Productive by Being Profit Focused
Creating a thriving business is not all about growth. If you think you'll only make a profit by creating more leads and putting more ads out there, Penny's here to prove you wrong.
While the common business model is to build your following and hold off from making a profit for a period of time until your leads turn into profitable customers, Penny says it's possible to make profit while you grow - by implementing profit levers that focus on your existing clients.
Here, she shares the 8 profit levers that help you be profit focused in your business.
New lead development
Every business needs growth, but it's important that it's positive growth. While the rest of Penny's profit levers focus on your existing customers, this first one goes towards creating new leads and attracting potential, profitable customers.
Raise your average purchase price
Your existing customer has an average purchase price. Think about what you can do to increase it. Maybe it's time to raise your prices, bundle your services into a package or partner with someone and get an affiliate commission?
Increase frequency
Think about how you can increase the frequency by which your customers buy from you. If they're on a monthly program and already interested in what you do, maybe they're open to something more frequent that they receive on a weekly basis.
Automation
Where could you automate your business so that the system will be able to do it without you? By automating something you can reduce the cost that goes into it, as well as save time.
Extending customer lifetime value
If a customer typically works with you for one year, how can you create something that keeps them in your world for longer? Find additional value that you can deliver to them.
Enhancing customer loyalty
People tend to leave you when they think you don't care. Build a relationship and create more interaction. Your goal should be to turn your customers into raving fans.
Boosting referrals
Even though this generates new leads, it's doing it with our existing customers. Referrals are four times more likely to buy because they've been referred by someone who they know and trust, so you're getting a credibility factor from the existing customers you have.
Sales conversion
You already have a lead flow that comes in, but instead of investing the money in the conversion process, invest the money in the new acquisition. This is an optimisation strategy where you focus on closing more of what you have coming in and only then ramp up to get more leads.
Step back and see which one of these profit levers has the greatest value for you right now and start implementing it to make your business more profitable.
Which profit lever are you going to try out? I'm curious to know! You can follow and connect with me on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

When I started my online business, I had no idea I was going to have a multiple 7-figure business 7 years later, or that I would achieve one million in revenue in 4 years.
I remember not even having these aspirations. I didn't see myself as someone who could achieve that. I saw other people doing it, but me? I hadn't even started my online business yet. I was throwing spaghetti at the wall, hoping that something would stick.
I started creating freebies and held webinars in order to grow my list, but I forgot the most important thing of all: Having an offer ready that I could sell.
On my journey, I went from 1:1 clients to group coaching, creating my first online course to coming up with my signature course SOMBA, and after four years in business, I hit the $1M mark.
In this episode, I share my path to a million dollar online business, complete with the ups and downs I experienced. I also share the case studies of two special women, Ingrid and Claudia, who are both clients of mine and are on the path to creating a million dollar online business.
With this episode, I want to encourage you. Like me when I started out, you might be someone who can't imagine ever achieving $1M with your business. But I did it. Ingrid and Claudia are on their way to doing it. And if we can do it, you can do it too. You just need to know the path to get there.
"The reason I reached $1M in revenue is because I had a scalable online course that allowed me to work less and earn more." - Sigrun

Are you a person who is scared of sales? Many entrepreneurs have brilliant business ideas, but when it comes to selling their services, they are overcome with doubt. They are worried about being too pushy, or charging too much, or being perceived as sleazy.
Melissa Pharr, my guest this week on the Sigrun Show, has made it her mission to help women overcome these doubts and attract clients online.
Like most entrepreneurs, Melissa tried out many different things until she landed where she is today. She was working as a personal trainer, a health coach and life coach, and at one point, people started asking her how she was actually making money and attracting clients.
That's when she dived into online marketing strategy and started the business she's running today. Her dream had always been to work remotely, and she was tired of turning over every cent twice.
Starting her business was an uphill battle. After the first few months, she was $42K in debt and had just one sales call a month. Melissa knew she was smart, but she started having the belief that she was just not smart enough for what it actually takes - until she finally embraced her individuality, committed to being herself and focused on attracting the right clients for her business.
By the end of the year, she managed to pay off all her debt and made $311K in revenue, turning her business around completely.
In this episode, Melissa talks about the 5 things she focused on to get clients, why women are often scared of making sales and what they can do about it.
If you wonder how to attract more clients or are blocked by the belief that sales are sleazy, this episode is for you.
"When you actually sit down and work through a struggle, you get the deepest sense of self-respect you will never have if you're not willing to face your demons." - Melissa Pharr
In This Episode of The Sigrun Show:
Curious to know more about attracting clients? Find out how you can acquire clients from Facebook groups or how you can niche your services down to attract your ideal clients.
Client Attracting Activities: The 5 Step Plan
When Melissa hit rock bottom, she had to figure out what to do to turn her business around. She knew she had to learn how to manage herself, as well as have the right strategy. She thought about what she actually had to do to attract more clients and came up with the following 5 key areas she needed to put her focus on:
Be clear on your offer and who it's for, make it irresistible and know how to present it.
If no one is paying attention to your offer, it doesn't matter how good it is. Build your audience and your email list and get people's attention.
If you have an audience that doesn't trust you and doesn't see you as an expert, they're not going to buy your service or product. Build up a relationship with your audience and establish trust.
Have a strategy to start hearing Yes. Whether people say yes to something that's for free to get on your list or whether it's yes to something that's paid.
Find a way to make the sale and be good at your sales process.
Melissa stuck to these 5 things and focused on them every day. She implemented this process for two years and hit 7 figures.

I'm so excited to speak with this week's guest on The Sigrun Show, Eleanor Beaton. Eleanor and I met in Ali Brown's premier program over a year ago. She stood up and spoke so elegantly in front of everyone that I thought she looked and sounded like a queen, and I just had to invite her on my podcast.
Eleanor is a business coach helping women entrepreneurs unleash the power of their voices. Her mission is to double the number of female entrepreneurs who scale past 7 figures in revenue, and she believes finding their voice is a huge part of that.
Eleanor has a background in communications, having advised politicians, CEOs and organisations on effective communication and helping them change public policy, influence political decisions or have a powerful voice in the boardroom.
During her work, she increasingly started to engage with women leaders and saw an opportunity and need to coach women. At the same time, Eleanor realised that she was hiding her own voice by acting behind the scenes as an advisor. Going online was the perfect opportunity to get her message out to the world, and so she founded her coaching business in 2014.
Today, we talk about leadership and why people struggle to find their voice. Eleanor shares how you can differentiate yourself from others and be category of one.
Don't miss out on this episode to find out which steps you can take to become a true leader who stands out.
"If you don't understand how to evolve as a leader, it can compromise your business growth." - Eleanor Beaton
In This Episode of The Sigrun Show:
Need more inspiration on leadership and standing out with your business? Understand why you should speak your mind even if your voice shakes, or how you can step up as a true leader in times of crisis.
3 Key Areas to Focus on if You Want to Be in a Category of One
If you want to stand out from the crowd, become a leader and be in a category of one, Eleanor says there are three key areas you should focus on: niche, leadership voice and positioning.
Niche
Niching is the act of focusing your offer on a specific group of people. Think about who it is you specifically want to help and target your offer towards them. If you think about how much stimulus the average person receives on a day to day basis, it's important that you are memorable and that your target group is clear about what you do and how you help them. Being category of one begins with niching, and it's something you can start right away.
Leadership Voice
If you don't have your own voice, you're going to default and sound like everyone else. Without a voice you can never be a category leader, but instead are a category follower. If your website and images look exactly the same as everyone else's, or if you use the same language and expressions other people use, you will never be memorable. That's why right after niching, you need to find your leadership voice and distinct yourself from others. Socialise, educate and inform people about your niche. Understand how to be a spokesperson for your company. This takes more time than niching, but it's a skill you can practice and get better at over a period of time.
Positioning
The third area you need to focus on is positioning. Solidify your position by attracting the right audience and position yourself at the high-end. It becomes about what you don't do, about who you're associated and aligned with. Be intentional about showing up as a premium brand.
You don't become category of one overnight. It takes at least a year until the market begins to see that you are sticking out. But the good thing is: You can start doing it right away.
Are you inspired to be category of one? I'm curious to know what you're doing to stand out in your area of expertise. You can follow and connect with me on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Information Call
On Wednesday, November 11th, I'm doing an information call where I will be talking about my Red Circle and Momentum group coaching programs.

I'm in the middle of transforming my team, and there couldn't have been a better moment for Kris Plachy to come on to the Sigrun Show.
Kris is an expert for entrepreneurial management and her work revolves around guiding leaders in learning how to lead their own team.
Having worked in a corporate start-up environment, she quickly made a name for herself for building up teams that not only win, but stick together.
At the same time, Kris became interested in coaching. It was back in the 90s when there weren't many coaches around, but she learned as much as she could about it and eventually became a certified coach herself, developing her own practices. Then she realised that she could combine her coaching experience with her work experience.
She started running a performance coaching team, coaching and developing 4000 leaders along the way.
However, it wasn't until she was invited to be the content developer for the annual women's leadership program run by her COO that she fell in love with working with female entrepreneurs. The fast action and implementation of female leaders was right down her alley, and she has worked with women who run their own companies and have big goals ever since.
This week on the Sigrun Show, Kris shares the steps to design the team that will help you reach your goals and what role your values and expectations play when hiring a team member. She also talks about the importance of measuring performance and how you can identify when it's time to make a big hire.
No matter how many figures you're making, don't miss out on this episode if you want to learn the most important lessons on designing and leading a team.

How to Create the Team That Will Help You Reach Your Business Goal
You know that now is the time to create the business you want to have, and that in order to reach your goals, you need to have the right team. But how do you go about designing that team? Here, Kris shares five great steps to help you understand the mechanics of building your team.
Define the game you want to play
Your vision defines the landscape you're going to create in the world. It's also the defining anchor for all of the people you will bring into your company. Hire people who are equally excited about your vision. If you have people on your team just because they want a job, that's not going to benefit your vision.
Understand which players you need
Think about the players you need to achieve your objective. What structure and roles will you need in your team? The important thing is that you don't build a role for someone who might already be on your team, but define your roles independently. As your business is evolving, sometimes the people who you started with aren't compatible anymore with where your business is heading and change is needed. Write job descriptions for the roles you need to achieve your goal, and only then go and look for people who could fill them.
Identify your values
Having your values clearly defined helps you in hiring, but also firing people who aren't right for your team. Your values influence your decision, so it's important that your future team members are aligned with them. If you're not clear on what your values are, think about the best person who has ever worked for you and look at the shared values you had with this person. You can also do the reverse and look at the worst person you ever worked with, and identify where the conflicts were. Sometimes we don't know our values until they are made visible in contrast to someone.
Get clear on your own expectations
Whenever you're not getting the results you want, the first person you look at is you. Think about whether you were really clear about what you expected from this person. Be more thoughtful about how you give direction and how you follow up with the results.
Measure performance
Introduce measures for every role which help your employees (and yourself) know they're on target. Every role has key measures, and they create a foundation for accountability. The biggest frustration of most employees is not knowing how to be successful in their role. They don't know if they're on the right track, and this kind of confusion isn't the right strategy if you want to reach your goal.

Tobi Fairley, my guest this week on the Sigrun Show, has a lot in common with me. We have both made it our mission to empower women and get them to step up and be successful with their business. But while I mainly focus on service-based entrepreneurship, Tobi is concentrating on helping creative people make money online.
Tobi isn't just a creative herself - she is a left-brain and right-brain person and has a degree in interior design as well as accounting. This is somewhat unique in the creative industry, and it has served her well in order to build up her business successfully.
She's worked as an interior designer for 20 years, was in magazines and created product lines for companies. She did all the things in the designing industry she dreamed of, but what she liked most was working together with other creatives.
As she saw the interior design business slow down back in 2008, she reflected on what else she could give to her audience. She realised that what people wanted from her was to look over her shoulders and see how she created her brand and ran her business.
She started a weekend design camp where people could attend seminars and sessions and eventually grew it into the successful consulting business she runs today. Her goal is to empower especially creative women to step into their personal power, believe in their ideas and charge their worth.
Today, Tobi shares how she was able to reach such success, how to overcome the starving artist syndrome and why it's more important than ever that artists take charge of the business side of their craft.
If you've been brought up in the belief that you can't make money as an artist, this episode will turn your world upside down.

Starving Artist Syndrome: 3 Tips to Overcome it and Start Making Money
Whether you're a graphic designer, a painter, an interior designer or a sculptor - how can you actually overcome the starving artist syndrome, be visible for potential clients and make money online?
In Tobi's experience, artists tend to think about possible steps of action, map them out and put them on their schedule, but when the time comes to pull through, they believe they can only do it when their creativity strikes. Or they think that if their work is good enough, one day they will just "be found".
But if you want to make money and have success as a creative, you need to actively put yourself out there and attract clients. Here are Tobi's top 3 tips on overcoming the starving artist syndrome:
