It's easy for us to think that entrepreneurship is a glamorous lifestyle and sometimes it really is. But we need to keep it real and to make sure we're talking about the whole ugly truth when it comes to entrepreneurship, building a business and managing our expectations. In this episode, I'm going to share with you what I’ve learned and experienced in my seven years as an entrepreneur. Wherever you are on your journey, hopefully it will make you feel like you're not alone.
What You Will Learn in This Episode:
- Entrepreneurship isn't a quick fix and it takes a lot of patience
- You're an entrepreneur 24/7 and that means it can be very hard for you to switch off
- Why you have to invest money and time in order to get it back
- Understanding that as long as you're doing your best, that’s good enough
- Why you need to have people around you for help and support
- Accepting that there is always something that you might need to learn
- Sometimes you will fail, but failure is a part of success and part of the process
If you're on this journey right now, it's not all glitz and glam, and it can be difficult but it is worth it. Personally, I wouldn't have it any other way. I love being an entrepreneur and I hope you will too.

Making decisions in business can be difficult when you know that your decisions can impact money, revenue or even people's livelihoods. Decision making for people who are naturally indecisive can be even harder. In this episode, we will go over some practical things that you can use for making decisions and putting yourself in a more empowered position.
What You Will Learn in This Episode:
- How to gather the facts you need in order to make a decision
- How to do a SWOT analysis and look at the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of a decision
- How to make a sound decision as quickly as possible because time is money
- Getting clarity on what you want and what you need to do to make it happen
- Why consulting someone who will be able to support you in decision making is a good idea
- How to make a contingency plan and have other options and backup plans
The reason why we get stuck on making decisions is because we're afraid that we might fail or that we will make a wrong decision. Whether it's fear of failure or that people will think we aren't competent, we must overcome that fear, and learn to make decisions every day in order to move forward in our business.

One of the biggest frustrations I see with entrepreneurs is that they have no idea how to price their product or service. It's time to price with confidence. In today's episode, we're going to go through some great questions and prompts that you can turn to every time you have a pricing dilemma in your business.
What is Covered:
- Things to think about when pricing - the result you want to create, the actual value of the offer, what client wants
- Considering your current and your desired position in terms of income, credibility and audience size
- How to do your research
- How to decide which clients or customers you want to sell to
- The best way to think about the return on investment
- How to stop charging for your time
Although it's difficult sometimes, it’s all about getting an offer together, putting it out there, testing it and seeing what happens. Don't be afraid to start a little bit lower than what you feel or you know. Then you can increase the price as the confidence and the business grow together.

Scaling means that your business revenue increases without a substantial increase in resources or effort. It's essential to be able to leverage your time, but a lot of businesses try to do this too soon. If your business has been established to your care and your ideal client, if you know what your brand vision and offer is and you've built your audience, if you’re making sales and making consistent monthly revenue, then this episode is for you. You're ready to scale.
What You Will Learn In This Episode:
- How to make sure you have a product or service that is unique and valuable
- The importance of focusing on having a repeatable product or service
- How a marketing strategy set up for growth looks like
- Making sure that your business has tight back end systems and processes

These are five ways to scale. Think about how you can implement some of them and make some shifts in your business. If you scale, don't do it before you make sure you have the growth and you've built your audience. When you feel like that you’ve reached that moment, then start thinking about how you can streamline everything and scale your business.

It's that time of the year again when we are setting goals for the upcoming 12 months. We have all been in a situation to set goals that have never come to fruition. The reason is that we haven't got the clarity on the goal and the actions that we need to take. In this episode, I will share with you some exercises to help you get clear on your goals and how you can make them a reality.
What We Cover:
- How to get clear on your main goal that will have the biggest positive impact on your life
- Getting clear on your process, performance goals and impact goals
- How to review your goals as often as you can in order to create maximum results
Success happens when you make plans, when you're intentional, when you have the accountability and clarity, and when you have that jump-out-of-bed goal that you go after no matter what. So use this process to set your goals for the next year, break them down, set your deadlines and take actions to achieve those goals.
