The Skeleton Boys

(Apologies!! We were having trouble recording this episode. Audio will sound different or lower than normal. Again, APOLOGIES!!!)

A rich collector! An inheritance! A glass house! This week the boys open the eye of hell as they fight, "Thir13en Ghost"!

Inspired by Matt Donato's Letterboxd list, "Revenge O The Remakes: A Ranking of Horror Remakes". We are taking a look a FOUR horror remakes of our own.

"Thir13en Ghost", was adapted from stories written by Robb White and originally directed by Willam Castle. It's a great Halloween "popcorn" film that is lite on story but really about the ghost in the movie. Is this remake better than the original?

In TV CORNER. "Chapelwaite" all the stories are converging and fells like we are almost done. And so much more!!

Birthday weekend! Friends reveal old secrets! Unwelcome stranger! This week the boys question everything because, "All My Friends Hate Me"!

"All My Friends Hate Me", is a British dark comedy with hints of horror splashed in. It follows a group of old college friends meeting for a Birthday weekend. It's the Anti-"Big Chill". The movie is a psychological piece about paranoia but does it boarder too much on cringe?

In TV Corner, "Chapelwaite" is slowly becoming a soap opera and the boys are loving it! And so much more!!

Random falling objects! UFOs! Capturing video evidence! This week the boys say, "Nope"!

Original, creative, creepy and suspenseful! Jordan Peele returns to continue to show off his skill as a director. Only a sci-fi action picture doesn't completely convey what Peele is really talking about. That'a good thing. But does Peele's message come through or is just a mess?

In TV corner, "Chapelwaite" takes a left turn this week but are the boys for it? (HINT: YES!)  And so much more!!

Coastal California town! A divorcée and her teenage sons! Vampires! This week the skeleton boys tangle with "The Lost Boys"!

"The Lost Boys" successfully bridged horror with adventure, comedy and is an iconic 80s movie. A true classic and timeless fun. It's the perfect way to end our summer series. Enjoy the blood punch!!

Plus in TV Corner, big things happen this week, "Chapelwaite"! Did we like the change of pace? And so much more!!

A family vacation! doppelgängers! Santa Cruz! This week the boys have a terrorizing encounter when they met,"US"!

"US", is a puzzling second feature from writer and director Jordan Peele. It's subtext could lose you but is truly unforgettable experience. Peele underpins his movie with symbolism and humor. Is this a great idea but questionably executed?

Plus, in TV Corner, we further dig in Epix's, "Chapelwaite"!  And so much more!!

Idyllic retreat! A relationship on the brink of falling apart! Pagan cult! This week, the boys enjoy a Swedish mid-summer festival, called "Midsommar"!

Traumatic, surreal, bizarre masterpiece? This movie will be divisive. I have no doubt that many people will have mixed feelings. However, while this movie is challenging, it's the definition of Folk Horror. But is this movie more style, no substance?

A sexual encounter! Unusual curse! Pursuing phantom! Aloha folks! This week the boys hit the beach and celebrate Hot Sexy Death Summer! To kick off our summer series, we vibe with "It Follows"!!

"It Follows" is a wonderfully lo-fi horror, a chilling slasher story that shares much with Japanese horror gene but light years ahead. Do the boys want to build sandcastles with it?

Plus, on TV Corner, we begin again, with a brand new horror series, " Chapelwaite"! And so much more!!

Secluded beach! A vacationing family! rapid aging! This week the boys, plan to get, "Old"!

Typically. M. Night Shyamalan 's movies have interesting concepts. It's not fair to only see M. Night as the "twist" guy,  because when he is on his game he can deliver a mean emotional punch. "Old" features promise and potential but is this movie ludicrous or genius?

Plus, in TV Corner, we review the final episode of season one of Epix's "From". We also discuss the season as a whole. And so much more!!

Child abduction! Soundproof basement! Disconnected phone! This week, the boys can't wait to answer, "The Black Phone"!

Scott Derrickson directs a chilling horror/thriller set in the 70s and is based on a Joe Hill short story. The movie is set around mostly young kids and a terrifying villain. A scary Ethan Hawke and terrific young stars, is this the must see movie of the summer?

Plus, in TV Corner we check out Epix, "From" episode 9. And so much more!!
