The Skeleton Boys

Internet personality! Vengeful spirit! Live streaming! This week, the boys, wager all their clout to host, DEADSTREAM!!

THE EVIL DEAD (skeleton boy John's favorite movie) meets THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT! If you like the description above, then this one is for you. A good horror comedy should have fun practical effects, plenty of atmosphere, and decent jump scares. So is this a good horror romp or ridiculous dumb?

Plus, in TV Corner we began a new show THE MIDNIGHT CLUB! Did we become members?  And so much more!!

HELLRAISER (2022) is reborn for the modern era but does it shake off a legacy of increasingly inferior direct-to-video sequels? More importantly, is this movie super horny enough?? Plus we check out, WEREWOLF BY NIGHT and wonder how biting it is? And so much more!!

Our Spooky Special rolls on! This week, the boys see a pair of sequels that don't have very much in common. Paranormal Activity 4 and Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones!!

Paranormal Activity 4 is the first true sequel to the events of the first movie. Going forward in the series, the series takes wild turns and big swings. PA 4 can be described as," Not a whole lot of activity.Period." Fans of horror franchises will except, horror cliches and cheap scares, if there is promise. Thats what, The Marked Ones does very well. But are these fun follow ups or unnecessary sequels? And so much more!!

Our Spooky Special continues! This week, the boys watch Paranormal Activity 2 (2010) & Paranormal Activity 3 (2011)!!

All sequels have highs and lows. After the success of Paranormal Activity, the creators wanted to take the story and build out a mythology. Paranormal Activity 2 and Paranormal Activity 3, are movies that complete a trilogy. (Which does not instill any confidence in the remaining sequels). Can these sequels tell an engaging story and bring the fun terror?

Middle class couple! Malevolence presence! Video recording equipment! This week the boys hit the REC button because we ain't afraid of no ghost! We face off against, PARANORMAL ACTIVITY (2007)

Originality is craved in Hollywood. Horror is littered with favorites remade to the last drop. For a horror movie to be provocative and tension filled, PARANORMAL ACTIVITY will always stand apart. PARANORMAL ACTIVITY is very popular movie, but is it one of the best found footage movie of all time?

A remote cabin! The Book of the Dead! Summoning an evil force! This week, the boys loudly judge, 2013 remake of the EVIL DEAD!!

Inspired by Matt Donato's Letterboxd list, "Revenge Of The Remakes: A Ranking of Horror Remakes". We are taking a look a FOUR horror remakes of our own.

We finish off our remake journey with EVIL DEAD (2013). Reimagining a classic, will always come with doubts but with the original team, SAM RAIMI and BRUCE CAMPBELL, producing, can this remake be one for the bloody ages?

Colony of rats! A social misfit! Old mansion! This week the boys meet a rat named BEN, a smart rat, and try to outlast greasy weirdo, WILLARD.

This remake to the 1971 film featured BRUCE DAVISON in the title role. He briefly appears in a painting as WILLARD's father. A dark fairy tale, perfectly balanced between strange humor and graphic horror. CRISPIN GLOVER, evokes calm weirdness and sensitivity. Is WILLARD  a cult classic or forgettable remake?

In TV Corner, we review episode 9, the second to last episode. Things are coming to ahead and so much more!!

The suburbs! Ancient vampire! Las Vegas magician! This week, the boys take on centuries-old blood-thirsty creature during,"Fright Night".

Inspired by Matt Donato's Letterboxd list, "Revenge O The Remakes: A Ranking of Horror Remakes". We are taking a look a FOUR horror remakes of our own.

R.I.P. Anton Yelchin. it's a tragedy he past away so young.

What if a vampire was your neighbor? It's a simple but intriguing question. FRIGHT NIGHT, is a 2011 American neo-noir comedy/horror, directed by Craig Gillespie. Horror remakes are tough but is FRIGHT NIGHT better than expected?
