It's the last episode of 2025! On this episode the Beaveman presents one of the most ridiculous conspiracy theories out there. The belief that Lyme Disease was created in a lab on Plum island at the Plum Island Animal Disease Center. I mean, let's not just assume that Lyme Disease has been around for thousands of years. That would be ridiculous. It's clearly a biological weapon created by an evil genius in order to wreak havoc on the battlefield by causing a rash and vague symptoms like fatigue and joint disease weeks to years after exposure. Oh wait, that is ridiculous. Welcome to some of the most ridiculous conspiracy theories that could only be imagined in the USA.

This week the Beaveman talks about all the fond memories he has of the life changing gifts that legendary director Rob Reiner gave to the world. 

The Swan shares her memories as well and they have a light hearted discussion about their love of The Princess Bride and Stand By Me specifically, as well as Beaveman's new crush on 40-something Kathy Bates. 

They are joined by Drippy Steve who is younger than the Beaveman and Swan. So he gets an education about all the pop culture references throughout the decades that can be directly attributed to The Princess Bride, Spinal Tap, and Stand By Me. These are not all of the legendary Rob Reiner's contributions. There are too many to discuss in so little of a time to do them justice. 

He gave the world many gifts. Our hearts go out to the friends, family, and all the lives touched by Rob and Michele Reiner. 

Rest in peace.

What a fun episode. The squad gets unsolicited information from Steven about his sex life, which coincidentally, fits very well with the Beaveman's, "Not So Grand Rounds." Should it drip? An age old question. 

This week on extraterrestrial time, Steven proves he is unprepared, and Nolan does the same on Weird History. Good thing no one is paying these guys. 

The traffic report is read with the finesse of a machete chopping up a wild boar, and the Swan delivers a decent segment of dumb jokes. 

The podcast was a blast. These idiots try to teach Swan how to properly say, "douchebag," for at least five minutes.

Technical difficulties plague the squad from the get go, leading to some rather mid-quality sound from Nolan, but they power through. At least, sort of. That non-beard growing Indiana potato decides he has to make in the middle of the podcast. This only infuriates the Beaveman and Nolan more. They still have a fun chat with each segment with the poor Beaveman covering his segment, plus Swan's and JD's. He gives it his best, but he is no substitute. It's extraterrestrial time, the Lizard man of South Carolina, deciding where you want to make your final stand, exhibitionistic disorder, the traffic report and dumb jokes with the Beaveman. On this week's episode, the Squad unites and things get weird... even for us.  Extraterrestrial things - Steven basically talks about aliens and basically says basically 47 times.  (We didn't actually count, but you can if you want to).  Nolan does a book report on the historical accuracy of the movie Braveheart.  Swan joins us from the Slaptail Nation Chopper with a highly informative, completely serious, definitely-not-ripped-from- The Matrix traffic report. Then, Beaveman takes a sharp left turn into the wild world of compulsive sexual behavior (because why wouldn't we)?  Swan once again attempts to bring the laughs with her "questionably humorous", basically terrible, attempt to tell jokes - badly.

Strap in for questionable facts, inappropriate laughter, and the brand of chaos only the Slaptail Squad can deliver.
