It is the return of angry Beaveman, hopefully for just one episode. During a typical drive down the road, the Beaveman was listening to a comedy station. He heard a certain comedian doing a bit. Instead of laughing, he became angry. As an adult, he exercised his option to change the channel, but he had already heard enough. Insult him if you will, but when you insult nurses, well he tends to get a bit miffed. Join us for the angry rants of the Beaveman. Yes you heard him right, the Beaveman does not believe that romantic love exists. He believes that true love is what we feel for our children and our dog. Evidence of this can be seen with our fondness of songs that we believe erroneously are love songs. The Beaveman provides two examples. Additionally, this podcast is a great example of the patience and tolerance that the Swan has when it comes to the Beaveman. We all know how much he loves comedy. The Beaveman loves the genre of movies and TV that represent the Rom-Com. Can the real-life version of the Rom-Com exist? The Beaveman does not think so. The world would be so much more interesting if they did. What about the bromance? Can the bromance exist in a world such as ours, or would the powers at be do everything to destroy it? Incidentally, if you are worried that the Ronz makes it through this entire episode unscathed because he was on his best behavior and made no mistakes, well, your worries are unfounded. This week on the Slaptail Squad, the Beaveman did the unthinkable. He started the podcast and didn't hit record. What followed was 17 minutes of a very funny conversation that is now lost to the universe. The squad rallied and drove on. They talked about animal-human diseases, prairie dogs vs. prairie-doggin, and the importance of not importing pets. The Beaveman recounts memories of baseball and his childhood. Apparently uncovering some unrealized trauma, yikes! The Swan administers a rather lame version of the Family Feud, and the Ronz fixates on lube. This week on the Slaptail Squad, the squad is at full strength and it is a perfect time to have a fun conversation. The Beaveman provides a bit of an artificial intelligence update at the top of the podcast for those of you that care. Then the conversation quickly segued to discussion about family gatherings. Sometimes the Beaveman just really wishes he could have replacement parts. It is tough getting older and having aches and pains, but comedy helps. Maybe the tech will be available in the next 10-20 years, or is it here now? This week the squad has a casual conversation about AI, cyborg parts, and of course, fembots. It is no surprise that the Beaveman wants more than one. It is also no surprise that he welcomes our mechanized/robot overlords and wishes to merge with them.
