Mafia Mistress, Mafia Darling, and Mafia Madman are now one of our favorite book series after our 4 day reading binge.  The first 2 books are about Frankie and Fausto.  Frankie is the daughter of a mafia boss from Toronto who happens to owe Fausto, the Italy mafia boss money.  Fausto has decided he will be taking Frankie as payment because his son, Guilio, needs a wife.  What he doesn't expect is to want her for himself.  Book 3 is a revenge plot book that surrounds Enzo, a man that Fausto has previously kidnapped and tortured, and Gia, Frankie's sister. Revenge quickly turns into sexual obsession in this plot line.  The series does have a 4th book which comes out in March of 2023.   

This book read was out of the box for us.  Very tropey for sure which is definitely what you get when you read Penelope Douglas.  We meet Tiernan, a 17 year old girl who has had the world's worst childhood, never felt wanted or loved and is going through the devastation of losing both her parents.  She is left to her "uncle" Jake, whom she has never met, in her father's will.  Jake is her father's estranged step brother and lives up in the mountains in Colorado with his 2 grown sons.  She decides to move there for a short time to get away from everything socialite in California.  The need to wrap your brain around the fact that they aren't blood related is important here, as she moves into this house with 3 men.  It gets wild, and crazy, and wild some more.  You read it and let us know your thoughts?

The Filthy Trilogy is a 3 part book series about Eric and Harper.  He is a genius billionaire who has shown up to help Harper, his sorta step sister, one time fuck, and employee, at his families company.  He hates his "family", doesn't work with them, and wants nothing more than to see the company go up in flames.  Now he has to help Harper figure out why it's in trouble, and why people keep trying to kill them.  There's a huge plot line with a lot of secrets and lies.  One of the best things about this series is the hate sex, sexy sex and the I love you but I'm keeping so many things from you sex. Tune in to see what we loved about this series.

In this episode we review the final 3 books of the series, Eyes on Me, Give Me More, and Mercy.  Bottom line: Sara Cate is a boss ass bitch.  We absolutely love this series.  While we are not fans of the 4th book, we LIVED for the 1st 3.  Book 2 is a Voyeur/step-sibling kink, book 3 is a husband and wife bringing their best friend into the bedroom kink, and book 4 is a dom/sub relationship, with a woman being the dom.  There is so much to say about each book, but we, of course, are going to make you listen to the episode to hear our thoughts.

Extra extra, read all about it, Jillian liked a reverse harem and I'm gonna shout it!!!!  This is considered book 1 of a reverse harem series and we were immediately on board.  We meet The Triad, a gang in London, run by Tristan, Sebastian, and Elliot.  They kidnap Scarlet to use her as leverage against her family, but what they get is a woman with a shitty past that hates her family and is looking to belong, and by belong we mean, to them.  Sebastian is the first one onboard with that plan, also the first one she trusts and the first one she fucks.  Tristan, the king of dirty talk, wants her but doesn't trust her, and Elliot just all around hates her and wants nothing to do with her.  Scarlet works to prove herself and gain their trust, she starts working for them, gets both Sebastian and Tristan to fall for her, but before Elliot gets his shot, she gets kidnapped. Even if you don't love a good reverse harem, we recommend giving this series a shot, its worth it.

In this 3 part short series, we meet ex's Katie and Brandon.  Katie is currently 25 years old, a new manager at Marathon Corp, and living with her best friend Meg in New York City.  Brandon is a 42 year old millionaire that owns Marathon Corp, lives in New York, and has an ax to grind.  7 years ago they were in love. She was 18, he thought she was 22, she lied her way through their relationship, he was blinded by the sex, and found out she betrayed him.  Lots of shit happens, bad shit honestly, and they are both a mess.  He manipulates with sex and says what she wants to hear, and she (as well as us) is confused all the time but trying to hold on to the old Brandon that she fell in love with 7 years ago.  No one is the same person they were 7 years ago and they both are starting to realize that.  Forgiveness is easy when you love someone, but forgetting is quite another story.
