The Snot Rocket Podcast

On this episode of the Snot Rocket Podcast, the boys bring on four-time US Olympic trials qualifier and former world record holder, Mike Stahr. During the show, Tommy tries to finish a six-pack in a little over an hour and it ends … well … just listen, Mike has boxed wine with a cork, and Andrew doesn’t fix his bed. Tommy and Mike reminisce about running camp in Vermont, Tommy brings up the time, much to his chagrin, when Mike lost the Fifth Avenue Mile by a lean, and Andrew awkwardly tries not to be a third wheel.

This episode, being a Zoom interview, has plenty of beer. Tommy attempts to power through a sixer of Voodoo Ranger from New Realm. Andrew partakes in some El Guapo from O’Connor Brewing.

Somehow, someway, the pair talk about just one race - the 1904 Olympic Marathon. Christina makes a play on winning the Best Beer During a Podcast award, and Preview Mike submits a story. Tommy annoyingly corrects Andrew about how to pronounce 1904, talks too much about being an asshole, and makes a Fiddler on the Roof reference. Andrew utilizes a Terry Fox analogy, nails the pronunciation of people’s names … again, and brings up Boston marathon jackets.
