David Golden is a gay man and former meth addict who used drugs and alcohol to fuel sex parties and irresponsible sexual encounters for years and years. This all came crashing down when he was arrested for felony possession in 2019, which kick-started his road to recovery.
David spent most of his life perfecting his "stage characters" in an attempt to get people to like him, but in recovery has learned that through rigorous authenticity more people like him than ever before.

Jessica Jeboult is the founder and creative mind behind A Sober Girls Guide, which has blossomed into a podcast, book, recovery program, worldwide support groups and soon to be academy. In Jessica’s own words:
“I was living the fast life in the heart of Los Angeles, California. I was a full-time traveling club Dj. I played all the big Hollywood parties in the hills and the hottest night clubs. I wanted to stop this vicious cycle but I didn't know how. I had been sober off and on for over 10 years, and 12 Step work didn’t seem to be the answer”.
“I went through my life with a fine tooth comb and eliminated all the bullshit my ego was doing to be cool and traded it for things that made my soul sing” We chat about how this turned into a program of recovery for other women, a blog and eventually what it is today!

Breigh is a trans man who, at the time of our recording, was 76 days sober. Looking back on the years that he struggled with alcoholism, he needed to get away from a mindset that people are only alcoholics once they've become dysfunctional beyond repair. This helped Breigh to recognize and stop patterns that were causing destruction. Breigh says alcohol should be seen as the addictive substance that it is instead of a normalized social occurrence that you can't seem to get away from.

In 2017, TJ launched The Conscious Recovery Method, which is a groundbreaking and effective approach to viewing and treating addiction. The Conscious Recovery Method moves beyond simply treating behaviors and symptoms. It focuses on the underlying root causes that drive destructive patterns, while providing clear steps for letting go of core false beliefs that lead to addictive tendencies.
We also chat about our own journeys and as they relate to being queer. TJ provides amazing insight on my own experience and some outstanding shame that exists. TJ’s new book, Conscious Creation launches on 9/9/21!

Jack grew up in a volatile home with an alcoholic Mother. He shares his story of trauma associated with the absence of his Mom and her erratic behavior. He has turned his experience into a passion to share his story and help other children of alcoholics. Jack also warns of the normalization of alcohol in the 18-22 age range and how “big alcohol” takes advantage of this. Jack is an amazing example of a strong young man not influenced by peer pressure but rather his own beliefs.

Losers with a Dream is a podcast featuring Lisa Lampanelli, Beau McDowell and Nick Scopoletti. Every Monday they go deep on a topic such as addiction, fear of success or acceptance just to name a few and share relatable, lived experience on the topic.
In true Lampanelli fashion, she then educates everyone [on everything] and roasts Beau and Nick as she does today with me. This was such a fun interview and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Today we talk about our gratitude, my plans for the show, imposter syndrome and all things in between. Please subscribe to both shows now!

Try your best not to drink, and be good to yourself!
Today Arlina Allen is a successful podcast host, speaker and life coach. She uses her 27 years of personal recovery to help others get sober, stay sober and go deeper.
In Arlina’s words: There was a time when I thought I was just a fun party girl.
To say I was proud of the fact that I could drink men twice my size under the table was an understatement. For a long time, I had A LOT of fun.
There were lots of wild nights, lots of men, lots of crazy stories...
My tag line: If it was in a bottle, a bag, or blue jeans, I was doin' it!
My story really begins from April 23, 1994, my fist clean and sober day when I finally admitted that I had to stop using everything, including weed.

Blair Sharp is a writer, blogger and alcohol free wife and mother. She retired from drinking in February of 2018 when her son was 18 months old. She is proof that you can live a full and happy life without alcohol. Being alcohol-free is a large part of her life, but it’s not everything.
She loves to make people laugh with a sarcastic and blunt personality, and we share a weird sense of humor and don't take life too seriously. We also agree that if we can help one person by telling our story, that’s enough.
