  • Jackson school honors local man

    The Jackson Intermediate School gym was named for the late Maze Willie Stallworth Sr., a top fundraiser for the school. Stallworth and his family were recognized for contributing to the American Heart Association’s Kids Heart Challenge. Although heart issues did not result in Stallworth’s death, other family members have succumbed to heart disease.
