dress like you: something fun I picked up from another fellow substacker last year that brings me closer to my ‘vacation self’ is to pre-plan my outfits for the week. This helps connect me to my flow for the week and makes every day feel like more of an event. I talk about it here.
day drink: I am obsessed with my summer protein smoothie. I fell for the high-protein dialogue that was being pushed so hard on socials, but honestly, who can eat that much cottage cheese and meat, especially in the summer months, when all I want is a light meal that I don’t have to cook. I wanted a combo that had colostrum, collagen, whey protein, and creatine, so I buckled down and did some research and found that Lineage Provisions had Creatine and their AB protein powder, which is super clean. It’s so good. Here is the recipe:
frozen cherries for the win: I used to eat them at night with some yogurt for a nighttime snack to help with sleeping, but lately I find myself snacking on these delicious frozen treats all day. They are packed with antioxidant properties, and they are anti-inflammatory, so they help with muscle recovery, inflammation, heart health, cell damage, and so much more.
