Paul is back to recap the Astros/Blue Jays game to close the series. Cristian Javier continues his strong start. Yordan haunts Chris Bassit’s nightmares and crushes baseballs. Paul talks the about the relief pitching options the Astros use in blow-out games. And we gotta give Yanier Diaz his flowers for this series. Plus a Grae Kessinger sighting!

Then we begin to project the starters for the upcoming series in Arlington. Time to get ready for some more playoff type baseball!

Paul is going out of town for a bit and we’ll be going to a more regular posting schedule after the glorious first week and intro to the pod!

In this special episode of the pod, Paul sits down to talk a little bit of history. No-hitter history to be precise. Going back to 2019 Space Cadet goes through some good memories!

Paul is about to go out of town for a bit and video podcasts will be sporadic at best so this is a little treat until the vids are back!

After what can only be described as a God-forsaken beginning to the season for the Houston Astros, they are happy to turn the page and get the first win of the season with style. Ronel Blanco shows up “out-of-nowhere” and right when we need him to stop the bleeding and go deep into the game, in fact he went so deep the Astros didn’t need to use any other pitcher. AND the Astros hit 5 home runs and scored 10 to really solidify that they don’t even remember the word yesterday.

To celebrate that AND new subscribers I am secretly launching Late Nite W/Sports Cadet to-nite! This podcast will be a late-after-game reaction video podcast that will be considered a premium for subscribers and will go behind the paywall! It will be a little more ridiculous I’d imagine because I’ll always have little prep time and it will be recorded late, when I’m nice and crazy. Now that we have a single win under our belts I can truly say how excited I am for this season and what we can do with this little blog that could!

Good Afternoon Astros fans! The Astros golden era is over…April Fools! It’s just some awful March baseball we’re leaving the the rear view. Space Cadet Sports is excited to have it’s first video podcast and will hopefully do more during the season. Paul learns not only how hard it is to sports podcast but to video broadcast at the same time! Hurray for learning in the beginning of the season to make sure the middle and end are solid…Paul recaps the game, talks about Manager Joe Espada’s comments after the game and goes through his own recap of the series and what he would like to see going forward. Finally it ends with a little game/series preview of the upcoming games Toronto.

A tough game to watch and Paul missing the second half of the game makes for a tough recap. 😅 As we iron out the kinks in the podcast we hope the Astros iron out the kinks in their middle relief! Paul recaps the game, talks about his hate/respect for Juan Soto and tries to pry new Astros fans hand off of the panic button. Hopefully the games and the episodes start getting better soon. lol…
