9 weeks down and now 4 coaches gone as Gabi got his marching orders following Real Zaragoza’s 4-2 defeat to Almeria. Borja Jimenez debuted in a win in controversial circumstances for Sporting against Racing Santander and Depor lost their first game this season, away to Malaga who were 5 without a win before MD9. There was a Derbi in Burgos and Cadiz won to go top. Alex and Liam discuss all the action.

In Part one they focus on Gabi's sacking and his final game in Almeria. Plus the coupon buster in which a struggling Malaga beat top of the table Depor 3-0 in La Rosaleda.

In Part 2 they talk about the appointment of Borja Jimenez at Sporting and his first game in charge, a rollercoaster match against Racing in which their was an equalising goal, after the final whistle. They also cover the Derbi between Burgos and Real Valladolid won by a very special free kick.

Yet another coach has been sacked following this weekend’s Segunda football with Garitano of Real Sporting de Gijon getting his marching orders following 5 defeats in a row. 8 Weeks in and 3 coaches gone with another couple teetering on the brink.

This week we also saw not one but TWO contenders for goal of the season, and after no wins in the opening 6 games, Granada CF now have 2 wins in a row and scored FIVE in the first 30 minutes of their win over Real Sociedad B.   

Last week was too good to be true for show co-host and Real Zaragoza fan Liam when they picked up all 3 points, this week it was back to normal as they lost again.
