It's that time again: to take a break, think about our health, and have a salad. See? Weed salad. I catch up on some Stoner Moments, including getting more details on a story I had shared weeks ago about pain and THCA. I get Blunted about the DNC's inclusion of cannabis reform; feel that Bern. And I pepper the whole thing up with plenty of bong loads. The nice thing about smaller bowls is you get to take more of them! Taking a mental health break this week to just kind of hang out and catch up. Thanks for kickin it with me!

Tolerance, high or low, is an all too common challenge for cannabis users and clinicians. I've talked before about building tolerance, and starting slowly, but this ain't about that. This is for those that jumped right in! And find that they can't really ever go back ...or can they? Tolerance breaks are NOT an option here. It's time to unlock the Flower Power within recreational marijuana. Even those that have been smoking for decades have options to bring them back to that feeling of overwhelming attunement. If you're willing to put in the effort and demand the science, tolerance isn't an insurmountable wall, but an adventure waiting to happen. Before I let ya go, I call a Safety Meeting and revisit the Boundless Vaporizer I got a few months ago to see if it still lives up to the hype.
Those links I promised:
Great breakdown of the science and philosophy of tolerance.
And a pretty decent article from High Times too

It's that time of the year. Time to renew my doctor recommendation as a California medical cannabis patient! It's a motley system that's got its good and bad. But I'll take CA over pretty much any other state out there. There's some advantage to being the first; like, not having a preset fear that every Tom, Dick and Jane living on Pothead Lane was gonna have immediate access to...you know, natural medicine. The horror! I grabbed this one outta the vault this week. It's short and sweet, and features the greatest timed "ding dong" of my life!
Lookin' for that info?
How to work the system by state ...er, navigate what "legal" means.

Don't worry guys, you don't have to speak Spanish on this one to get what we're saying, but it might help. I have an exciting project in the works I'd like to tell you about! And that brings me to my friend Yami, whom I met through ASA. An organ recipient, activist and dispensary owner, Yami has a lot to share! But the thing we connect over the most is a desire to see Latinos given the means to recover from the horrific losses they've had to endure during this war on drugs, and to see them prosper in this newfound opportunity of legalization. Language barriers can make that difficult enough, but the cultural barriers can be the hardest to break down. Luckily, Latinas are a force to be reckoned with.

Hey everyone :) This week I spend time talking about myself. From sharing the wins to the rants; hope it helps! Then I talk about my experience trying to become a digital dabber, with my enail! Unfortunately things aren't going really well. There's some serious health issues that have come up for me, and I'm having trouble navigating around them AND using all the tools I like without taking out a loan. WHY can't I just have my cake and eat it too? Where's that ganja genie? Luckily experience and an opinionated cannabis culture means we don't have to dead-reckon this thing, or give up on our dreams. To wrap it up, an especially illuminating Safety Meeting this week. Or is there a little more...
A few things to check out:
A little bit more info about seasoning
The thread on Fuck Combustion that I found
And a little more info on cyanide poisoning that led me to stop using my ti nail
We got what some might consider a cannaseur level potcast this week, but there are lots of reasons people might prefer to dab their medicine than choose any of the myriad options available to them. And this question will come up eventually... what's the difference between high temp and low temp? So let's bang out a quick answer! Like most, it's a personal preference to start with, but there's some science to dialing it in for your needs. In the Safety we talk about carb caps, a low temp requirement.

Hey everyone! Let's talk about what's been on my mind lately ...THCA! I cannot stop talking about this incredible cannabinoid. I've converted my mom, my friends, acquaintances and hopefully some strangers after this. We break down the difference between THC and THCA, where you can find it, and how you can make it into medicine that works for you. Naturally I pimp my girl Soothing Sue. She's doing the hard work, I'm just reaping all the benes! This week we get to Safety too! We get naughty and discuss weed porn. Do you have a favorite? I'll show you mine, if you show me yours...
Full discovery ahead!

This week brings us listener questions! And hopefully I can provide some answers. Vaporizer pens and cartridges are tantalizing new options available in the legal and legalish markets. That just means there's a lot to learn! We discuss some of the basics, some of the perks and some of the downsides. All thanks to listeners like you! But first I bring up some tips using my favorite cannaproduct -Soothing Sue's! Can it really help out with sinus inflammation too?! You bet your ass it can! AND dark under eye circles? Is there anything this stuff CAN'T do?!

Another week, another potcast. I'm a little emo today, but we get some fun stuff out after I go to the Funtime Saladbar. Then a bunch of catch up Stoner Moments I want to get to: oopsies, oh yeah!s, shout outs and my horoscope. What? It's totally relevant. Then we talk about a few great stoner tid bits. Like a new story about THCA and hemorrhoids, and AAA supporting the use of reasonable cannabis testing for drivers. Because not all stoners are alike, and this is a real safety issue. Seriously, I must be high to get behind the wheel. It's like headlights in a light rain or fog, you may not see how it helps you, but it really helps me. Ok it's very little like that, but turn on your headlights, yo! And I close it out with some Smiles.

Allowing expecting mothers to use marijuana? Go figure, I think this is a Woman's Rights issue. Because it damn well is. There are risks, to be certain, but there are also options. We handle some Stonerish Moments and celebrate the further lambasting of NIDA's policies and practices, Bluntly. Then we get into it, balls deep, about women using cannabis during one of their most vulnerable times, pregnancy. But ...smoking a joint for morning sickness? Smoking has its hidden dangers, but it also has forgotten benefits. Let's find some balance. And alternatives! Because there is one thing we know for sure, marijuana helps when nothing, NOTHING else does. And we all know a woman who can benefit from that. In the Safety Meeting I introduce you to the newest member of my glass arsenal. An old school frankenbong named in tribute to the incredibly impactful Breaking Bad. ...and then: we get gendered about glass.
