We open up with some thoughts on Buddy Hield and his efforts to help the Bahamas in the wake of Hurricane Dorian. I’ve attached the link to his foundation and the link to his Go Fund Me page for those interested and capable.

The FIBA World Cup has provided Kings fans quite a bit to talk about.

What can we read into Bogi’s recent play? What will Belly’s role be with the team next year? Most importantly, why are some people excitedly tweeting Georgios Papagiannis box scores?

Minute distribution will be a fascinating thing to watch next season.

Sacramento Kings general manger Vlade Divac will take his place in the Naismith Hall of Fame this week. He spoke with ESPN about what he thinks about De’Aaron Fox and what he expects from his team this coming season.

Aaron Bruski joins me to discuss a variety of Sacramento Kings topics including…

The fantasy impact the Kings will have.

Buddy’s offseason.

What will his contract extension look like? Is he a max guy?

Are the Kings staring at a cap concern if Buddy, Bagley, and Fox all live up to expectations?

Can you go over the cap if you’re not a playoff team?

Most important free agent acquisition.

Is Trevor Ariza still a good defender?

We wrap up with my thoughts on former Sacramento King DeMarcus Cousins.

The NBA and the Sacramento Kings have closed their investigation into the sexual assault allegations against Kings head coach Luke Walton. What does this mean for Walton moving forward and how does it affect the Sacramento?

ESPN loves De’Arron Fox so much they’re already trying to get him out of Sacramento. The cast of The Jump spent 3 minutes trying to figure out why De’Arron Fox would say he loves Sacramento, cause, ya know, he couldn’t possibly mean it.

Meanwhile on their digital platform, Bobby Marks and Jorge Sedano think the Kings are underrated. What are the expectations next year? Not Vegas’ expectations. Not ESPN’s expectations. What are your expectations for next year?

De’Aaron Fox is the latest to withdraw from USA Basketball. Official reason: focus on the upcoming season and the Kings making the playoffs. The offical reason doesn’t really matter. He’s entitled to spend his offseason as he prefers but that doesn’t stop us from examining the possible reasons why, and why everyone of them makes sense.

Former Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins tore his ACL while working out in Las Vegas and it looks like he’ll lose another year of his career. We’ll spend a few minutes talking about DMC - is this the end for him, and if not, what does his career look like moving forward?

The Kings' free agency was filled with guys we believe to be defensive players, but are we right in that assessment? We know what type of defender Trevor Ariza was at 24. What type is he at 34? What can the Kings do to help take advantage of his skill set?

Why is it easier to evaluate Dedmon, Joseph, and Holmes defensively than it is Ariza?

Who will be the best defender on the Kings when the season is over?

Where do the Sacramento Kings need to finish defensively next year in order to be contending late in the season?

The Mens National Team had a disastrous start to practice in LA this week. What does that mean for De’Aaron Fox and Harrison Barnes?

The Sacramento Kings Podcast presented by Hoop Ball starts a new era, as Sacramento media personality Damien Barling assumes the hosting duties.

In this first episode, Damien discusses Marvin Bagley withdrawing from consideration for the FIBA World Cup team. Bagley had a strong showing and had been favored to make the 12 man roster.

Aaron Bruski joins Damien to discuss the Kings approach to the upcoming season, the wild card that is Luke Walton, and what to expect in terms of pace and growth. The two discuss Bagley’s decision to leave USA Basketball and the possibility of De’Aaron Fox being an Olympian next year. The schedule was released so Damien and Aaron discuss what pitfalls may face the Kings and attempt to figure out why they only play one nationally televised game.

Damien closes out the show with some final notes and thoughts on the schedule.

Episode #2 coming later on this week.
