I do hope everyone is doing well and is staying home. These are some really hard and trying times for many of us. But the year broke. That’s how it feels, broken and it hasn’t been easy for many people myself included. My mental health has been fluctuating and finding my balance has been a walk on a high rope.

So this week I decided to create a new normal. This is how I see it; I’m a creator. I can create my own rules and regulations and in this instance, schedule.

Tapiwa is a magnificent Zimbabwean man that I have had the pleasure of getting to know over the past few months and his life continues to intrigue me. His openness around everything he does and his willingness to share it all.

Dear Law is a women-led project focused on using storytelling and survivor-centred approaches.

This project was inspired by the #MeToo movement, that prompted critical conversations towards accountability for sexual harassment.

Dear Law project is to bring to the fore and amplify the voices and collective sexual harassment experiences of women in the legal profession with a view to disrupt the normalisation of sexual harassment.

Just a heads up, as this is a podcast about sexual harassment, we will be talking about a difficult subject matter that might be disturbing for some listeners.

That was an actual experience of lawyer in Nairobi read and reenacted by voice actors.

In the coming episodes we will be diving into the difference between the sexual harassment employment act and the sexual offenses act. Shedding light on your rights in and out of the workplace.

We will also be highlighting the ambiguity when it comes to consent. Do you truly know what it means?

Spreaders!!! It’s our last episode of 2019!!! And no better episode to end with than a conversation I was so glad to be a part of while I was in Ghana. I was invited to sit on a panel at a sex positive festival, a first of it’s kind in that area and definitely not a last. Follow adventure TV everywhere to see the unfolding of my time in Accra.. and Yes, I will have a blog out at some point next year. Editing is always my challenge. Needless to say, I had the most amazing time in Accra, I met the finest of the crop and was so honored to talk with some of them both in real time and on this podcast episode. So without further ado, I present magic!!

This episode of the spread is very near and dear to me. If you listen to the progression of the episode, we get to go through the journey of Mel discovering more about her sexuality with the help of sex therapist Cathy. If is literally the epitome of un learning or as I like to call it ‘Un-fucking yourself’. It’s a beautiful journey to listen to your self and begin to live your authentic life.

This festive season, for the 7th year, my family and I are raising money for a Christmas party for the angel centre home for abandoned children so that they too have an opportunity to enjoy family.
