Ep #163: The WHY Behind My Decision to Only Coach Women
One of the most common questions I get asked all the time is: “Do you coach men as well?” Often, people ask me this because they know a man who wants to transition into senior executive leadership and they think I could help. And they’re right. I could. Actually, when I was writing Promotions Made Easy, I was still coaching men on how to get promoted to the executive suite. And it worked. Because my teachings work, regardless of your gender. But there’s a super simple reason why I only coach women. And it’s this: It matters. And in this episode of Women Changing Leadership with Stacy Mayer, I am going to explain why it matters so much.

Being in a community of incredible women leaders who can support you as you pivot, strategize, and figure out “what’s next?” in your career is a total gamechanger. We’re going to dive into the strategies and mindset shifts that are having the biggest impacts on their careers…AND you’re going to receive a deeper understanding of how to apply these insights to your career, too. Ep #161: Your Job Is NOT Your Life
As a corporate badass woman, you know your job is not your life. But let’s face it. We spend a lot of time at work. (Probably way more than 40 hours a week, if we’re being honest.) And because our work occupies so much of our time, so much of our mind and the energy we are putting out into the world, it’s easy for us to forget that it’s actually pretty meaningless in the grand scheme of things. And this hit me hard recently. And I want to share my thoughts with you today. So in this episode of Women Changing Leadership, I’m sharing how you can step into your power at work so you can put more of your time, energy, and effort into the areas of your life that DO matter a lot – all while still going for the promotions that allow you to have the impact you are here to make.

Ep #160: The Difference Between Hard Work and Working Hard
Welcome to our first episode of 2023! As you set your big, exciting goals for the new year, I want you to keep this in mind: In 2023, you need to stop working hard, and start leaning into hard work. Yes, there's a difference. Most of the women I work with have a strong desire to avoid burnout, to avoid stress, to not get promoted into a role that’s going to force them to have no other priorities in their lives. And I get it. I started my business to be happy, not miserable. But there’s a problem that can sometimes arise from this mindset: We can sometimes focus so much on NOT burning out, that we fail to set (and reach) those big, exciting goals. So in this episode of Women Changing Leadership with Stacy Mayer, I’ll reveal the difference between hard work and working hard so you can do the important things that will set you up for major success this year (while avoiding the things that suck up all your time and energy and give you nothing in return).

Ep #154: Grow Your Career in 2023 by Focusing on Contentment
For me, 2022 was a year of contentment. Not contentment as in: No longer striving for something more (which is what I used to believe contentment was). But contentment as in: Being incredibly happy with where I am and growing and achieving so much more from a place of desire instead of need. And when I look back over the year my clients inside of Executive Ahead of Time and The Leadership Table have had, I see this same kind of contentment. The work that we are doing made their next promotions inevitable. And so getting promoted wasn’t a feeling of need, but a feeling of…’of course.’ Because when you know in your bones that you are great, that you have what it takes to get promoted to those executive levels, and when you know that your next promotion is just the beginning of the impact you are here to make in the world, everything comes together – and it feels so, so good. So in this episode of Women Changing Leadership with Stacy Mayer, I am sharing the different things my clients and I did in 2022 that allowed us to access this level of contentment so you can reach a whole new level of contentment and success in 2023.
