While many athletes lamented that their friends and family weren’t allowed to attend the Tokyo Olympics, two sisters from Toronto celebrated not only being at the Games together, but competing in the same event. Gabriela and Lucia Stafford both raced the 1500m in Tokyo, each running extremely well. They also happen to be on the cover and profiled in the July/August issue of Canadian Running Magazine. In this episode we chat with the Stafford sisters about their Olympic experiences, the bonds of sisterhood, and what gets them excited about the future.
