The Starlight Megaphone

Lusipurr, Sebastian, and SiliconNooB delve into the biggest stories in a week packed with big stories: in a Halloween manoeuvre, Nintendo's Witch takes flight; Red Dead Redemption 2 promises new and hilarious bugs; and The Last Guardian is finally done.

LIONHEAD STUDIOS IS CLOSED. FABLE LEGENDS IS CANCELLED. ALL IS WELL.

When Nintendo replaces the Fire Emblem: Fates script with the output from a meme generator, SiliconNooB demands that Treehouse be destroyed. Lusipurr, always more circumspect, suggests a political solution: the formation of a true Lusipurrean Empire.

In an effort to prevent Lusipurr enjoying his pizza, SiliconNooB harasses him with constant gibberings and dribblings of a news- and cricket-related nature. Then, adding insult to the injury, Bup arrives on the scene, necessitating even more shouting.

The first Lusi vs. Bup arrives in a feature-length podcast crammed chock-full of culture: Literature, Music, and Intelligent Discourse all feature prominently, as does a double helping of Cricket live-commentated from the last over of the T20 Blast final!

Lusipurr, Ethos, SiliconNooB, Blitzmage, and Iliya are momentarily buoyed by report of English Cricket victories, surpassing all expectations. Unfortunately, a run of depressing news is more than enough to misdirect the panelists into the doldrums.

When Lusipurr begins an audit of the books, he discovers a terrible error: Imitanis has been stealing the Literature Corner for months! After several redactions, corrections, and updates, a reappropriation ensures that SiliconNooB gets his just desserts.

In his weekly radio call-in show, Lusipurr is listening when producer Ethan ‘Roz’ Pipher puts through calls from Blitzmage and Imitanis on the topic of Nintendo’s future hardware at E3 (or lack thereof). Kevin Spacey guest stars as a confused gamer.

Not content with bringing yesterday’s news to listeners, the podcast panel employs Lusipurr.com FlexiTime to bring tomorrow’s news to listeners, instead. A bright and bountiful Ouya future awaits one and all, and Lusipurr reads two hand-crafted poems.

Lusipurr, SiliconNooB, and Mel settle down for a long winter nap all snug in their beds, until visions of Blitzmage invade their heads. And as if this were not enough, Ethos arrives by proxy, wearing leather pants, no shirt, and a hair-do from the 1980s!
