The Statist Quo

Today’s show is based on a thought experiment-created by one of the guys from SwiftSilentDeadly.com: What would it look like if you could create a four-year degree to make somebody a highly skilled operator (in the best sense of the word). Training today is done either a la carte, from dozens of different providers, or done by the state, which is lackluster most of the time.

Matt takes the idea and runs with it, sharing some stories from his own government and private training experiences, and some tales of terrible past instructors.

This show is based off an article Matt wrote on our website, it contains links to Pat and SSD’s articles on the topic. you can read it here.

This show wasn’t specifically intended to show somebody to talk them out of joining the military. It can serve that purpose, but It was more of a realistic, sober take on pros/cons of military service and what it’s actually like, for people in the liberty community. We talk contracts, terrible command and the soul-crushing bureaucracy. Enjoy, and go check out Pats content at www.uncensoredtactical.com!

This past Monday, May 4th, 2020 marked the 50th year since the Kent State shooting on the campus of Kent State University, in Kent, Ohio.  This story is somewhat familiar to most Americans, but there's much more than most people realize.  It's a story of the tragedy that America is still experiencing today.  The politicization of every aspect of life.  Politics is poison...it makes people hate each other that wouldn't otherwise.  The shooting of 13 students that day is the result of a country deeply divided by an unpopular, needless war of choice and a governor trying to win a primary election, wanting to look "tough" to voters.  "Law and Order" and all that.

Matt and Nick talk about the historical context, the events leading up to that day, and some other lesser known aspects of the event, including some insight as to what prompted the guardsmen to open fire on a crowd of unarmed students.  Matt tries to stay on task, but he does go down some rabbit holes about the M-16, Cambodia and Vietnam.  You've been warned.

Thanks for listening!

Okay, so one final show on current events, before we get back to some non-rona programming. I've had enough of it, and I am sure you guys have too.  On today's show, we answer a listener question about farmers culling herds and wasting meat, dumping milk into fields and the similarities between today and those events during the Great Depression.  We talk some about why the US food system is so fragile, and also discuss "contact tracing" AKA even. more. government. surveillance.  We give an over view of the insane amounts of data collection programs the government has running, and the illegal dragnet spying at the NSA that will surely be wrapped up with the latest public health efforts.  We also talk some about automatic license plate readers in Kentucky.

This weekend, curl up with a good book...and podcast! Matt has the pleasure to interview a really cool guy named Matthew Wojtecki, who is the author of Brushfire: A Thriller. This book obviously comes highly recommended and is available in paperback, ebook and audiobook. Show this guy some support!

Well, Matt didn't have much prepared so we just freestyled this one.  We talk about The View and their cluelessness on American culture, some random 'Rona news, and about the outbreak on the USS Theodore Roosevelt; including the captain's email "leak" and firing, We also discuss the Pentagon's (intentionally?) ham-handed response, and the general hypocrisy displayed by the functionaries of the Empire--they claim to "care about the troops" but their actions show otherwise.  After discussing muh military, Matt breaks down an article written by Armstrong Williams in the Washington Examiner.  At first blush it seems to give some deep insight into the current cultural, mental, and spiritual malaise that plagues America, but his analysis has a huge blind spot, and that is the role of the state in the societal ills of American society.

Enjoy!  A big thanks to all our listeners and an even bigger on to our Patrons!

Vaccines are always a controversial issue. We can see how much power the corporate press still has by the emotionalism people have in certain subjects they play up, like mass shootings or vaccines.  They want to pigeonhole everyone into "anti-vaxxers" or "pro-vaxxers".  But what if you have questions, or a nuanced opinion on each vaccine?  Well, you will most surely be demonized as a heretic by the mainstream.

Here, instead, we go through the state's own documentation and the excellent reporting of people who do the same to find out what the real facts of vaccination are.  We start by observing the April 12, 55th anniversary of the Polio vaccine trials, and give a brief overview of the history of poliomyelitis, the vaccine, and ask some questions about what really eradicated polio.  We then bring that topic current with the after-effects of pulse (mass) vaccination in India to eradicate polio, and the non-profit and NGOs that contributed vast sums of money to that project and other immunization projects around the world, such as GAVI, the Gates- and Rockefeller-connected Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization.  We look at some of their activities, and dive into the world of eugenics, population control, environmentalism and their connections to GAVI and the WHO.

In this newest episode, Matt and Nick discuss the approaching fascist police state, by decree of the power elite of the bureaucratic healthcare industry, the World Health Organization (WHO). The guys also chat about some potentially successful natural ways to help protect yourself against our current pandemic.

Since the state never lets a good crisis go to waste, the bumpy road ahead is almost inevitable. Let's invest in our own autonomy and hopefully we can weather the future storms ahead with more liberty and freedom.

Today on the Statist Quo, Matt and Nick lament about the state of America's population, as it has gone from a nation of freedom fighters to a group of bootlicking supplicants.  Today's show is a coronavirus-related grab bag of topics, from the fakest of fake news CBS liars caught trying to pass off Italian ICU footage as NY hospital footage, to the ramped up police state, now including citizens, as neighbors flood the phone lines snitching on each other.  Matt talks about the greatest scam ever perpetrated in the $2-6 trillion stimulus bill, which will enslave generations of Americans in debt forever.  Also included are the push for "digital" currency so everything you do can be tracked, some medical care inside baseball and a few minor tips to help you and yours stay healthy.  Enjoy!
