For episode two of our After Hours segment, Ralfy and Kai reviewed the latest HBO Max release “The Little Things” starring Academy Award winners Denzel Washington, Rami Malek, and Jared Leto. A neo-noir thriller set in 1990’s Los Angeles, two detectives form an unlikely bond in order to catch an elusive serial killer. Filled with potential and a lot of star power, the film suffers from pacing issues among other things. Check out what the Stoop Kids thought in their official review. Around this time last year, things weren’t looking too bright in the world. A looming pandemic and the loss of idols had us all in a stupor. Rather than look back on it, Ralfy, Kai, G decided to settle on a lighter note. Episode 66 is all about those underrated or forgotten comedy films from our past that still manage to make us laugh all these years later. Some are raunchy, some are heart-filled, and some are a little bit of both. In other news, Netflix announced new anime series for both King Kong and Tomb Raider. Speaking of animation, Game of Thrones will also be getting the cartoon treatment for HBO, and we may be seeing a return of the Spy Kids franchise according to director Robert Rodriguez. For their second episode of 2021, The Stoop Kids get nostalgic. So many videogames have defined our childhoods and then one day, they just up and disappeared. For episode 65, the guys talk which franchises they’d love to make a comeback in this next generation. From NBA Street and NCAA to Jak & Daxter and Sly Cooper, this one is sure to take all those videogame lovers on a trip down memory lane. In other news, WandaVision has finally arrived and Ralfy and Kai give their thoughts. Netflix also announced that a new film will be dropping every week, changing the tide of the so-called “streaming wars”. The Stoop Kids are back for their first episode of 2021! It’s been a while but Ralfy, Kai, and G quickly get back up to speed with the latest word on the street. We start off the year with some Marvel news in the form of Chris Evans possibly returning as Captain America and Deadpool making his formal introduction into the MCU. Ralfy also has a bone to pick concerning Ray Fisher’s Cyborg leaving the DC universe while Kai theorizes what really went down. Speaking of cinematic universes, the guys create their own film franchise from scratch, complete with casting, directors, and a plot so f*cking ridiculous, it could only be thought of on the stoop. It’s about that time of the year…The end. What a journey 2020 has been. There’s been some laughs and many tears. For every fleeting moment of success and happiness there has been hardships and meaningful lessons. The important part is not dwell on 2020 but to learn from it. It’s officially Christmas time on the stoop. For episode 61, Ralfy, Kai, and G celebrate the holiday season by talking about their favorite Christmas movies. Whether personal favorites or certified classics, all of these films deserve to be watched with some spiked eggnog and gingerbread cookies. We’re back with episode 60 and as promised, it’s part two of our Stoop Kids Wishlist. It doesn’t take an expert to know that 2020 has been lacking in the movie department. In their boredom, The Stoop Kids have been thinking about which films they’d pay to watch but probably never will. Episode 59 is all about the what ifs as Ralfy, Kai, and G go through which movie projects and sequels they would like to see in the near future. In other news, a new 007 game has Kai excited.
