Martin Scorsese’s gangster epic Goodfellas just turned 30 so you already know what that means. For episode 53, The Stoop Kids are going to make you an offer you can’t refuse. Ralfy, Kai, G go through some of their favorite gangster movies over the years. The films on their list are full of fancy suits, pretty women, lots of guns, and very dangerous, often very violent individuals. Before getting into the best of the best in regard to the worst of the worst, there’s some news to tackle. Disney has been busy lately with the release of Mulan and the announcement of a “live action” Lion King sequel as well as a new Nick Fury TV series. They’re not the only company making questionable decisions as the team behind the excellent Spider-Man on PS4 has made a very peculiar update for the PS5 version. We’re down one member of The Stoop Kids this week so Ralfy and Kai decided to talk about The Boys on Amazon Prime. One of the most explosive, hilarious, and violent shows out right now, it was only a matter of time before we properly discussed it on the stoop. Before Apple Music, Tidal, and Spotify dominated the music industry, we had to get some of our favorite music the old-fashioned way. And no, I’m not talking about music stores. One argument that goes back as far as time is whether our favorite movies, music, TV shows, and other forms of entertainment are overrated and underrated.
