I am worth the effort
A life student of mine came up with this affirmation when we were working together on helping to love herself, and it really resonated with me. When I’m working with my life students, I work to help them believe what they say…because we can say anything under the sun to try to help us change, but if we don’t believe it…it won’t matter what we say.
You are worth the effort, you are worthy of going after what is important to you, you are worthy of having the people in your life you deserve, you are worthy of having your dreams and desires fulfilled…but that only happens by knowing you are NOT worthy to just have it… but that you are worthy to put in the EFFORT towards having it.
Let me say that again…this is important so pay attention…of course you are worthy of anything…but you are NOT worthy of just having something…you are worthy to put in the effort towards having it.
People get affirmations confused with positive thinking. It’s more than that, affirmations are the having a conversation with your subconscious. The reason we need to say them all the time is not to be repetitive and beat it into us, but it’s about getting past the consciousness, to have a conversation with the subconscious. It is about getting to the root of who you are…and then helping to change the beliefs that are no longer serving you.
So I want to remind you that you are worthy, you are worth the effort…and when you put 100% focus on making your dreams your reality by saying and KNOWING you are worth the effort…then you will start to see magic happen in your life.
And not magic by things happening as out of luck, but that you put the work into believing and following thru with action to allow yourself to achieve what you have always deserved.
Where we get our efforts and our dreams confused is by thinking just because I’m worthy… things should come easy to me… and they will once you practice the habit of being intentional about everything you think, say, and do. But we have to learn how to believe differently…and then put action upon those beliefs.
Your wants are your consciousness, and your subconsciousness is who you are. When you understand this principle, you’ll begin to see the beliefs that you’ve created… are the things that are keeping you from being who you have always been meant to be.
