As an OR Nurse, Dr. Conley was bullied by her preceptor, other nurses and surgeons. In her leadership roles, she witnessed the impact bullying in many areas of nursing. Her doctoral study was Bullying in the Perioperative Nursing Workplace which found significant correlation between bullying acts and negative patient outcomes—including the death of healthy patients. Dr. Conley has taken her experience and made it her passion. She is on a mission to work with nurses and organizations to change the consequences and outcomes from bullying in healthcare.

Her expertise, practical tools, and strategies, including implementing The Meanness Matrix© are changing the data. While Sr. Director of Talent Development for the Advisory Board Company, she worked with over 300 healthcare organizations, training and empowering staff and leaders in subjects such as disruptive behavior, conflict resolution, self-care, teamwork, negotiations, and many others. Dr. JoNeil Conley is a nationally recognized speaker, teacher, certified facilitator and coach.

Jennifer Wren Tolo got her BSN from the University of Virginia and worked in the Cardiothorasic ICU/ Step Down Unit as a new grad and, a few years later, in the Surgical Trauma ICU at NY Presbyterian Hospital.  While attending Graduate school for her Masters in Nursing Administration at NYU, she worked per diem as a Critical Care Nursing Supervisor at NY Presbyterian and in the Special Care ICU at Memorial Loan Kettering.  Jen has kept her nursing license up to date and has recently worked per diem as a school nurse, but her life path shifted with the birth of her second son, when she experienced the other side of healthcare. She became a certified integrative nutritionist and holistic health coach, Karuna Reiki master, personal trainer and became certified in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction in the hopes of bridging the gaps in health care and addressing the whole person; mind, body and spirit. Now, Jennifer Wren Tolo is the owner of Butterfly Family Wellness, Whole Health Educator, Speaker, Author and mother of four boys.  She is the Author of MY FAMILY FUEL: A BUSY MOMS GUIDE TO HEALTHY LIVING and featured Author in The Wellness Universe’ COMPLETE GUIDE TO SELF CARE, where she wrote a Pause with Purpose: Tame the Chaos and Reset The Nervous System. Today we are hearing from Dr. Veronica Sampayo. She graduated from Valencia Community College in 2008 and worked in oncology most of her nursing career before deciding to go back for her NP and ultimately acquiring her Doctoral degree in 2016 from the University of South Florida.

As a Nurse Practitioner, she has experience in primary care, oncology, healthcare administration, and now NP coaching. She is on a mission to help nurse practitioners through all transitions in their careers and to improve the NP profession as a whole. This is what has driven her passion to excel as an NP coach & career strategist. She helps nurse practitioners with resume and portfolio building, interview coaching, and graduate school decision-making.
