Dr. Jasmine Sandoval is a first generation Asian American born to Vietnamese refugees parents. She is a veteran of the United States Army and enlisted right after high school. During her time in the military, she met and married her husband at 19 years of age. She had her first baby at 21, and second at 23, all while her husband was intermittently deployed. As she raised her children alone awaiting for her husbands return from war, she knew she wanted to make the most of her time. So, she enrolled in a local community college and graduated with a 3.89 GPA with two toddlers at home. She is a leader in the nursing industry and has really pursued the motto of “being the best.” She has experience as a pediatric registered nurse, NICU nurse, and working in the corporate world as a director of an opioid addiction treatment center. Meanwhile she obtained her master in business. She is currently a Manger of Nursing Operations at a large hospital in Florida, and in case you still aren’t impressed so far she recently obtained her Doctorate in Nursing.
