Dr Sherrie Campbell shares her story, as the child of two sadistic parents to escaping the toxic family system she grew up in, who then rebuilt her life from the ground up, becoming a trailblazer in the area of toxic family systems and healing from abuse. Amanda Nguyen shares her story, from full time stay at home mom, who after 20 plus years, found herself in a custody battle with her abuser- a tug of war between her and her abuser, where the children were the rope. She chose to lay down the rope, with the hope and intention of being able to reconnect with her children.

Through this, she did hit rock bottom, she was suicidal, but, has built back her life all the while, learning how to stay in contact with her 3 boys who live fulltime with their dad. While still living with the pain of not being able to parent as she once was able to, she's learned to parent from afar and managed to build a life she loves, despite her pain.
