In this episode of The Swift Half with Snowdon, Chris is joined by Baroness Fox of Buckley, better known as Claire Fox. They discuss all things from COVID-19 to House of Lords reform.
Claire recently wrote a chapter called 'Liberty: Beyond Left or Right?' in the IEA's new book 'Having Your Say'. Free speech is considered by both right and left as negotiable or even dispensable when faced with issues such as Covid-19 or Black Lives Matter. In such circumstances our political elites pursue a particular narrative through mainstream and social media and effectively ‘cancel’ those who express opposition or even mild doubt.
