The studies investigated the effects of different linoleic acid: linolenic acid ratios, energy levels, and linoleic acid levels in the diet on growth performance, inflammation, and joint health in grow-finish pigs. Spenser Becker is a Ph.D. candidate at Iowa state University who is planning to graduate this year. She received her B.S in Animal Science from Oklahoma State university in 2016 before attending Iowa State University where she received her M.S. in Animal Nutrition in 2019 and then remained at ISU to work towards her Ph.D.
