The Syndicate Minutes

Mike Pappas is the founder of Dead Air Silencers.  We got together to hang out and shoot some guns.

We talk about Mike's sports car, how it came to be that gang members held their pistols sideways, dating in 2019, Mike's tank, and shoot some Dead Air suppressors.

Brad Driver is the Sergeant Major of our local Marine Corps Recruiting Command.  Sgt Maj Driver has been a Marine for 22 years.  We talk about about the Marine Corps, and per usual, whatever else we felt like talking about.

I write this note to serve as a place holder to come back to years from now.  This conversation I believe will kick off a theme you will begin to see of us giving military/LE/first responder personnel a place to come and tell their story and why they do what they do.  More to come...

Charly Mann is master bladesmith based out of Hawaii.  He makes one of the most badass bowie knives you're ever seen.  After my conversation with him, I ordered one of his carry fixed blades, which is one of the cooler knife designs I've seen.  He has a fascinating background and I think you'll enjoy the conversation.

1911 Syndicate:  The real estate company that you've always dreamed of.  Like a weirdo.

This was an interesting conversation.  I discovered Mod 3 Design on Instagram, and saw that they made homes out of shipping containers.  I thought.....hmmm....I'd be interested in seeing that, so we brought some cameras, and off we went.

Over the course of our tour with Rob, I really loved these homes, and it started to make a lot of sense to me as a real estate investment or personal home to live in.  Hope you guys enjoy the conversation, it's a little unique compared to some of what we normally do.
