As we continue to build up to the 2024 national elections, many of you have been expressing how you feel about the various political parties and what they stand for. This past weekend the EFF held their 10th year birthday celebrations where they spoke about what they would do should they be voted into power. On the other hand, the ruling ANC structures like the Youth League, Women’s League and this past weekend was the Veterans League were all talking about how they are going to restore the public’s faith in the party. But judging from comments made by ordinary South African on unemployment, loadshedding, poor service delivery and so many other issues, we thought to talk about the disconnect between the political parties and the ordinary South African and just how much more can we take from unfulfilled promises?
