One Log House“Hollowed out in 1946 from a single log, the Famous One-Log House was created from a redwood tree over 2100 years old! This section alone weighed 42 tons. It took two men eight months of hard labor to hollow out a room 7 feet high and 32 feet long. Enough chips came out of it to build a five-bedroom house! This special log home includes living, dining, & bedroom areas just like any other trailer or motor home.
Museum of DeathHollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, Los Angeles. It was established in June 1995 by J. D. Healy and Catherine Shultz with the museum’s stated goal being “to make people happy to be alive”. “We collect everything and anything about death,” said perky Cathee Shultz, “everything from body bags, coffins, mortician instruments, to execution devices, to letters from murderers.” A caution from Catherine — “It’s extremely graphic, and we always recommend it to mature audiences”
Bridge to NowhereThe Bridge to Nowhere is an arch bridge that was built in 1936 north of Azusa, California in the San Gabriel Mountains.
