How does a place like the Longview Baptist Temple come to be? It doesn't just appear out of nowhere. It comes from something. How do you explain it? What do you need to know to understand the mindset of such a ministry? Here I lay a foundation for understanding not just the Longview Baptist Temple, but also the independent fundamental Baptist movement as a whole, as well as American evangelicalism in general.

Paul is a friend of mine and I always counted him among the "reals." He has a story to tell and encouragement to give, because Paul is a testimony of God's grace.
