  • S1 Ep86: The Rant Pack
While Matt Kelly takes a much needed hiatus, Mike Graham is joined in the Thought Police think tank by his old pal Kevin O'Sullivan. If you were expecting sweetness and light, you've obviously forgotten what this podcast is all about. These two must have been waiting a while to get a few things off their chest as they launch into a furious rant about the last few months of lockdown including: the way the government has dealt with the coronavirus, shirkers not heading back to the office, why working from home isn't always good for you, the death of city business, ridiculous rules on Welsh buses, unfounded fears about things that probably won't happen, applauding particular bodies but not others, medical care in the US vs. the UK, not listening to the Bonking Boffin and why people can't be told what to do anymore.

They also discuss Matt Kelly and the ongoing success of the New European (miss you Matt!) despite Brexit going ahead, the notion of 'faith claimed terrorists', not being able to criticise the NHS (even though you should be able to), the seemingly unfathomable role of Public Health England, and why you should never trust an expert (or several). Stand by your (hospital) beds... the Thought Police are coming for you.

  • S1 Ep81: The perfect accompaniment for a day trip to Durham
Mike and Matt discuss Dominic Cummings' actions in the reasoned and measured way they've virtually made their trademark at this point - did he flout the regulations? Was he in the wrong? Or is it all just one big game? Also today they share their feelings about the coronavirus pandemic now that the first wave appears to be settling down - when will life go back to normal? Other topics include The Last Dance, Jeffrey Epstein, great curry houses of the Greater London area, Mike's radio show, Matt's glee at the schools reopening and loads more!

  • S1 Ep78: One big (un)happy family
Mike and Matt are back to help relieve some lockdown boredom as we enter week seven! Today's news and views include: the stress of being housebound and seeing too much (or too little) family, the broadband situation in Norfolk (spoiler: it's bleak), Nigel Farage's behaviour, preparing to coexist with the virus, how newspapers functioned before the Internet, Hugh Grant and the hooker, Mark Di Stefano's hacking sacking, McDonalds' southern bias, the changing world of the food delivery and although sport's making a comeback, will cinema do the same? Mike and Matt are back to help relieve the lockdown boredom as they get stuck into the week's political news. The reappearance of Boris Johnson, never taking a day off work, the unhealthy nature of the gambling industry, why Las Vegas is not all it's cracked up to be, being fleeced by energy companies, projections on when restrictions might be lifted, and Alaskan cruises are the cards being dealt today.
