  • S1 Ep24: Fact or fiction?
David Cameron is back making the news and unsurprisingly the Thought Police have a thing or two to say about his return from exile. Mike and Matt also try to establish what's really going on with Brexit, what makes a regime, and why it's so easy to be a conspiracy theorist. Meanwhile the latest batch of candidates ripe for political derision are named and shamed. It's provocative, proactive but only 50% pro-European (though 100% pro-New European)...they're the Thought Police - accept no imitations!

The Thought Police are back from their summer recess and there is no proroguing here, there's a political minefield to discuss. Brexit is on the horizon, or is it? Matt and Mike pick apart the events of the last few weeks at Westminster and what exactly happens next...if anything.

  • S1 Ep19: Tales from the newsroom
Mike and Matt take a nostalgic wander down Fleet Street to discuss making newspapers and in particular some of the characters prised away from the pub for just about long enough to put them together (or indeed those who found a way to do it without having to leave the boozer)! Unsurprisingly this episode may include references to legendary news reporter Don Mackay...
    37 min
  • S1 Ep18: A reflection of society
Ahead of their respective summer holidays both Mike Graham and Matt Kelly are in philosophical moods. Pre-flight topics include: how modern life works (and doesn't work), whether less work means more money, trying to appease (or stand your ground with) tyrannical editors and covering the biggest news story the world has ever seen (once you'd finally heard about it)...

Follow @thoughtpoliceTP and @iromg on Twitter and don't forget to subscribe so you never miss an episode. Go on, it would be criminal if you didn't!

  • S1 Ep17: What's the Greek for Skittles?
It's time for Mike Graham and Matt Kelly's take on the week's news as they discuss the prospect of a general election before Brexit, popular conspiracy theories and common misconceptions, how to travel in style (as long as there are no hiccups along the way) and the dubious state of modern journalism. It's the Thought Police and it's the only lifestyle brand you need to be seen with this summer...

About The Thought Police

From the publisher's feed

It’s not 1984 anymore but it sure feels like it. The Thought Police returns for a third series. After working with previous partners Kevin O’Sullivan and Matt Kelly for the past few years Mike Graham has got a new co-host. He is the highly entertaining American comedian Lewis Schaffer whose wry observations on life have to be heard to be believed. We’ve got culture, we’ve got politics and we might even make you laugh in these troubled times.
