Sandy Weaver, Program Director-Center for Workplace Happiness, describes herself as a citizen-scientist in the areas of neuroscience, neuroplasticity and positive psychology. She works with individuals and teams to create a happier, more successful life and workplace environment.
Sandy has been involved in dog sports her entire adult life, serving in the center of the ring as a conformation judge. In her most recent book, Happy Vet Happy Pet–Caring for Your Pet's Caregiver, Sandy holds nothing back about the alarming topic of veterinary suicide, and how pet owners contribute to the problem.
Sandy combines her knowledge of human behavior, positive psychology and mindfulness to help veterinarians, along with informing and teaching pet owners how they can help support their vet and provide support.
