Oh man, this one might be a tough one for some of us, but it's time to talk about how some of our behaviors on-line may earn us a bad reputation among vintage resellers. Sticking with the theme of transparency, Here they are:

1. Lowballing other resellers
2. Canceling / Refunding a buyer after a sale has been finalized
3. Price shaming
4. Ghosting after putting seller to work answering additial questions
5. Being flaky when you have put something on layaway
6. Expressing anger when someone resells your item for more
7. Hidden (DM) pricing
8. Taking other sellers' IP / Reusing photos without permission

Not to make anyone feel vilified or piled on, but lets get these troublesome moves into the sunlight and discuss!

There are some vintage clothing items that aren't going to be (purposely) purchased for resale in Amanda's on-line shop or social media. It's not worth the risk of trouble, shadow bans, store closure and so on.

SPOILER ALERT! Here they are:

1. High-end designer labels and (potential) Knock-offs
2. Banned Animal products, furs, ivory etc
3. Items that require risky keywords in the title or description
4. Items that would mean having trademarked words in the title or description
5. Clothes with culturally insensitive or controversial images on them

Branding. Kind of an embarassing word if you think about it. But we need to talk about it. Not your logo or color scheme, etc. but what can people expect to see from you and your business. Do your social media followers recognize your posts instantly without the need to read who it's from?
