Joel talks about the shamanic practices of the Toltecs which are described in novel form in the Carlos Castenda books and describes how movements called magical passes can be used to induce trance states. We talk about the value of recapitulation and gazing and how we can enter alternate realities both from both the lucid dreaming and awake states.
