He understands that she has strong name recognition on the left and is popular among democrats, but her record on criminal justice doesn't fit the era. Alex also thinks that her lack of strong policy ideas during the debates will make her an easy target for attack ads on the right. He also worries that Biden - an East Coast former senator, and Harris - a senator from California, won't expel the notion of Democrats not caring about the middle of the country.

This exasperated the woes in a nation that was already in political and economic turmoil. Now citizens have taken to the streets after the government has stepped down. They want change.  Several countries away, Belarus is also experiencing political turmoil after the sham election that gave Aleksandr G. Lukashenko his sixth term as president. Lukashenko is known as one of Europe’s last dictators, only Russia and China accept his victory, and protests by angry citizens on the streets have turned violent and deadly.
