In this episode I discuss why it is important to develop range. Work on developing the skill of running fast and have the ability to slow down on our easy runs. Having a wider range between our fastest gears and our slowest helps us for all of our objectives and makes us a more well rounded athlete!

In this episode I chat with an old friend and previous podcast guest (episodes 41 and 13) Chris Knighton!! Chris and I became friends through the Boston running community and when we both started our coaching businesses in 2019 we bounced ideas off each other. Chris is someone who I have learned a lot from and I am so grateful for his continued friendship and willingness to come on the show! Chris wrote his first book, Run Faster Marathons, and is now in the process of writing his second book, Ageless Track Star, all about how and why adult runners can benefit from focusing their training on 800, mile, 5k track races. Enjoy!!
