What happens when you step onto a train, but never get off? You never get to your destination, you never turn up to the office or to the social event you’d planned with friends. Nobody expects any day to be their last, never mind a train journey to be the thing to seal the deal but that’s exactly what happened in this weeks case. This week we look at the puzzling case of Debbie Linsley.

39 years ago on February 28th 1981 at 3:10pm a baby boy only known as Baby Andrew was found dumped in a ditch on 33rd street and Sycamore avenue in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Andrew had been born alive and his placenta was still attached to him with blood-stained underwear being found near his tiny body.

For years, police and local’s of Sioux Falls wondered who could be capable of such a heinous act. Who could leave their newborn baby out in the cold to die? In 2019, the community of Sioux Falls finally got their answers.

Paul very kindly reached out to me and asked me to review his brand new book, The Reid and The Ripper. This week's episode is a little different as I run through the details of the book and interview Paul, stay safe & stay spooky!

Get the book here!

Synopsis -
What type of person was Jack the Ripper? Why did he kill and mutilate six prostitutes in 1888? What was the motive for the crimes? Why was he never caught?
This book does not name Jack the Ripper, but instead offers a unique insight into the mind of the Ripper and illustrates the harshness of life for many people in the East End of London at that time. It explains how a young criminal from Spitalfields, became the most infamous serial killer of all time. It reveals how his early life may have developed and the circumstances that led him to commit six murders over three months. The Ripper was born into poverty, neglect and abuse, resulting in a life of crime. But something else made him into a serial killer of prostitutes.
This book is not for the faint-hearted nor for people that are easily offended by bad language, sex or sexual violence. Each of the six killings is described in explicit detail, to understand the type of person, Jack the Ripper, was.

**Just a quick note, this episode was going to be a collaborative episode between me and the guys over at Reigning blood, however much like Don Lewis, their audio drive got whacked. We're working hard to get the remainder of the episode out to you guys, thanks for your patience, stay safe & stay spooky**

The man with the dull eyes, also known as the Danilovsky Maniac is a Russian serial killer that terrorised the Cherepovets area of Russia between 2004 and 2007. In total, he has been officially linked to 7 victims but Russian authorities are left wondering how many more is he responsible for and most importantly, who is he?

For heaven’s sake, catch me before I kill more, I cannot control myself. These are the infamous words that were scribbled across Francis’ Brown’s mirror in lipstick, Francis had been brutally stabbed to death in her Chicago, Illinois apartment. Francis’ murder wouldn’t be the first crime that was attributed to the infamous Chicago Lipstick Killer.

As podcasters, we have a platform and duty to speak up and call out injustice. In light of the
murder of George Floyd, we have come together in solidarity to use our platform to speak up
against racial injustice and amplify the voices of black podcasters that deserve more
recognition. Racism is prevalent in all industries; from the media who under-report on black
victims to the justice system which routinely fails black victims. In this collaborative episode, we
document black history and current events with the voices of those who have lived through it.
