We live in a society that teaches women the ideology that, "what you won't do another one will."

But if a man rushes you before your time, does not care or respect you.

At times as women; we do  it any way- hoping they will keep us company a little longer. When deep down inside we know he wasn't truly interested in who we were but more of what we offered.

I encourage you to know that its okay to say "no," and it's okay for a guy to catch a attitude, not answer his phone, or walk away- if you tell him that you are," not ready."

From a psychological standpoint, it is said that men and women tend to treat the opposite sex a bit nicer( especially those they are attracted to,)  but do white men( on average) tend to treat black women more kind, but show  a hostile side towards black men? Meanwhile are white women(on average) smiling at black men, but yelling or communicating with black  women that include condescending mixed with elitist undertones.

Is this an age -old tactic to give black  people the perception of being accepted and as equal, but only on a baseline, superficial level- while whites maintain a superior vs inferior relationship under the guise of being "nice" to black people but only if it is the opposite sex as them?

If a white person can only be nice to a black person of the opposite sex as them but show hatred towards the same sex of blacks- then one may question. How much do they genuinely have respect for you or black people in general?

Furthermore, do black people at times have so much inner hate for their own race to even notice the difference, or even care?

I used the search engine on Google images to look for a picture to use as a thumbnail  to portray a black man but when I entered "Black gentleman" in the search engine nothing came up.

In the black community- being seen as a "gentleman" is often compared to being a "beta-male" or mistaken as a sign of weakness towards women.

But mostly everything the Black man has been taught is the opposite of who he should be.

Should a man take advantage even if given the opportunity to do so?

Is there a such thing as a Black Gentleman?

The Caucasian demographic makes up 76.3 % of the U.S population, while Black Americans make up 13.4%, and of that 13.4 % Black women make up over 70% of single mothers  within that small percent of blacks alone.

We can sit and talk about the 24% of white single mothers that exist but it still leaves white children who are born into two family households at 51%- which is over 3x the rate of the population of Black Americans in the U.S alone.

In retrospect, Black people don't have the time to continue to produce children into situations that lead them into a life of poverty- and also causes poverty on ourselves as parents.

The Black Woman and Man never has been, nor ever will be inferior by nature to no one.

Yet it is only our unwillingness to break generational cycles(mentality), and our disobedience to God that deemed us so.

When are Black Men going to stop using the blanket statement that accuses all black women of simply choosing the wrong man as an excuse to deny or sweep underneath the rug - the magnitude of violence displayed towards black females at the hands of the Black Man?

When are Black Men going to be honest with themselves- that not every single Black Woman is just mindlessly and carelessly throwing herself at any man. Without being honest with themselves that we have a problem within our communities across this country.

Because for the Black man to continuously use the excuse that ,"Black Women just happen to always choose the wrong man" as a scapegoat in regards to  the high incidence percentage rate of , physical, and sexual violence towards their own women- is no more different than when White America justifies another unarmed black man being killed by a officer that was stopped for a missing  headlight.

P.s: When will the Black Man show an example to the Black Woman on who the right man is; for her to pick from?

You could yell from a top floor apartment balcony, down at your incoming visitor- but should you?

You could laugh loudly to garner the attention of a man- but will it?

You could  walk down the street yelling and screaming at the top of your lungs; because after all- you are grown !

But The first rule to remember as a lady is that:

It is not about what you "could do," but more about what you "ought to do."

Many Black Women have never had the privilege of an upbringing  that consisted of instructions on what was considered "fitting" or "lady- like"  mainly because places and events like ballroom receptions and tea banquets never were associated with the brown or dark women- neither were they ever invited.

So, in retrospect those attributes of class and demeanor were never associated with the black woman until now.

"It is time for the world to see that the Black Woman can be - and shall be known for more than "just" her body.

What we consider "cool' is usually the wrong way (lame )- and what is often considered "lame" is usually the right way to go within the black community.

Many brothers have yet to comprehend  that one can make 10k per day and still be unable to place homes, businesses, loans, and cars in his name, and usually have to place them in another woman's name due to the illegal money and his criminal record.

 What he doesn't understand is that this is a form of irresponsible behavior; due to the fact that he has to place what should be legally his in the fate or hands of another. Which in retrospect leads to more role reversing in the black communities of women being head, handling and owning, or renting everything that some black males live or operate within - at the permission of another woman . 

The Black Man must also realize that  it is considered reckless behavior( irresponsible ) to engage or indulge in activities(such as jail time, killing ,drug dealing,) that he knows will be a higher percentage, chance, or risk; that he will leave his children and family in compromising situations.

The black man must transition from "playing" to being able to understand how his actions not only effect himself but everyone that surround him.

The black community needs more men that are able to critically analyze, evaluate, and posses a serious mindset.

Due to many Black Men's void of obtaining higher education, more political, financial, and judicial power or achievement. Does he feel the only outlet he has, is to display his masculinity in ways that destroy black women?

When a group of Black men sit around and let an unconscious black man verbally or physically assault a black woman and does nothing to stop it- or even worse- to find amusement in it. 

It destroys the black woman's confidence in ever seeing a man or his masculinity in a positive way, and may permanently damage her trust in men forever.

The Terms Sambo and Mammy are descriptions used to dehumanize Black Men and Women- that was heavily used throughout the slave and Jim crow Era.

And with nothing new ever being under the sun- are some black people still enacting the very stereotypes our ancestors fought hard to disassociate from?

Every time we as black people hop, curse, and gyrate across a stage( and in daily life), are we truly performing for  or entertaining  our peers or are we rehearsing a skit that was handed down for us to perform from generations ago?

For the amusement of others?
