Sam Gibbs Morris, a thought leader, speaker, author, men's retreat facilitator, spiritual teacher, The Hippie Kowboy and Friend. He has a genuine passion for personal growth, Sam is dedicated to helping men expand their capacity to embrace their entire lives, including the feminine energy and life force within themselves.

For four decades, Sam sought external solutions, hoping that others and the world would save him. It was only through deep healing and radical self-ownership that he discovered his true identity and purpose.

As a former highly accomplished tennis player, Sam achieved great success during his college years, earning a scholarship and playing as the top-ranked player on his team. However, when his tennis career ended, he spiraled into a destructive pattern fueled by shame, drugs, and alcohol. This led to numerous incarcerations, multiple rehab experiences, and a life-threatening suicide attempt in 2009.

Emerging from the darkness, Sam found his calling and embarked on a mission to guide men in expanding their capacity to fully experience and embrace their lives. He creates a safe space for men to explore their boundaries, lean into their edges, and transcend their limitations—an approach that has transformed his own life.

Sam's personal growth journey has taken him to the depths of the Peruvian Amazon, where he sat with shamans for three weeks. He has faced his shadows alongside 332 other men on the Oregon coast and embarked on a profound inward journey during eight months of solo living in Tulum. Now, he is here to guide others back to themselves.

In this weeks episode Samatha does a solo podcast about Impact and Character. I ( Samantha) have recently been getting asked about a tattoo on my forearm. This tattoo is located on my right arm with the word "Impact" in big bold letters, but the I is replaced with a semicolon (which used as a message of affirmation and solidarity with those who have dealt with suicide, depression, addiction and other mental issues.) It got me thinking about sharing the "why" I got this tattoo and where the meaning came from and what it really has morphed into. Ultimately being " Our lives are made up of a series of Impact." Then as I was going about my day the word "Character" to mind. One thing I really enjoy is focusing on a word and digging into it on a deeper level. Character is the core of a person. Something that comes from deep within and it causes people to have patterns of behavior. These two subjects to the plain eye can seem very different, but in reality they really work together as a whole. Impacts happen every day in many shapes and forms whether we want them to or not. Your reaction and response will show your true character in these defining moments. Our hope is that being vulnerable and sharing the crazy and toxic relationships from our past can help someone in the place they are in now or to know you are not alone. Thank goodness we can laugh about these now But in all reality when you are engulfed in those dark places it can feel all consuming, taking every ounce of who you thought you were and leave you feeling broke, lost and scared.
