Charlie Bynar is an author and international artist whose portrait of David Bowie was featured in the Victoria and Albert Museum's five-year traveling exhibition, David Bowie Is. After the tragic loss of her son, she founded Isaac's Ant Foundation and created ant exhibits in his memory, including one at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. In 2021, she published her first children's book, Charlie and the Rainbow Trout. Through the Darkness marks her debut in narrative nonfiction.
