  • From Rock Bottom to Breakthrough: Lessons from My Year of Radical Transformation

Hey, hey, friends! 🎙️ Welcome to this raw and real episode of The Elevated Edit. Today, I’m pulling back the curtain on my 2024 journey—a year that stretched me, challenged me, and completely transformed my life. ✨

If you’ve ever felt stuck, afraid to fail, or overwhelmed by what others think of you, this episode is for you. I’m sharing the most important lessons I’ve learned this year, from reclaiming my voice to embracing failure and slowing down to speed up.

    Here’s what you’ll learn in today’s episode:

Caring Less About What Others Think:

    • Why people-pleasing held me back for years.
    • How setting boundaries strengthened my relationships.

The Power of Discipline and Consistency:

    • How I lost 40 pounds by showing up for myself every day.
    • Why small, consistent habits create massive momentum.

    Slowing Down to Speed Up:

    • How clearing my calendar gave me space to focus and thrive.
    • Why working less can actually lead to more success.

Embracing Failure and Being a Beginner:

    • Why being bad at new things is the key to growth.
    • My hilarious (and humbling) story about bike riding at Versailles.

    Your Action List:

    • Take a moment to reflect on your 2024. What did you learn, and what would you do differently?
    • Write down one area of your life where you’ve been holding back due to fear of failure—then take one small action this week to push past it.
    • Identify a habit you want to build and commit to showing up for it every day in 2025, no matter how small.

  • Level Up by Narrowing Down: The Power of Focus for Multi-Passionate Women

Hey friends! In today’s episode of The Elevated Edit, I’m sharing how narrowing down your focus can completely change the game for you. If you’ve ever felt stretched too thin, chasing every shiny idea, or overcommitting to the point of burnout, I’ve got you. This episode is all about simplifying and aligning your energy with what truly matters.

I know firsthand how hard it is to say no and focus, but trust me—it’s the secret sauce to getting out of the chaos and stepping into clarity. So, let’s cut through the noise and make real progress together.

Here’s the action list I mentioned in the episode to help you narrow your focus and get intentional:

    Your Action List:
    1. Define Your Mission

    • Seriously, grab a pen and write this down: What’s the one thing I want to accomplish right now? Keep it simple, but make it powerful. This is your compass.

    1. Audit Your Calendar

    • Look at your schedule and commitments. Ask yourself: Does this align with my mission? Does it light me up or drain me? If it doesn’t serve you, it’s time to let it go.

    1. Create a “Yes or No” Filter

    • Here’s a question I live by: Will this move me closer to my goals, or is it just noise? This will save you from saying yes to things that don’t deserve your time.

    1. Set Boundaries

    • Practice saying no with love. “I’d love to, but I can’t commit to that right now.” Saying no creates space for the things that truly matter.

    1. Pick Your Priorities

    • Focus on 1-3 key priorities and go all-in on those. Forget trying to do all the things—you’ll end up half-doing everything and exhausting yourself.

    1. Check In Regularly

    • Set a date in your calendar to check in with yourself. Are you still aligned with your mission? Are you overcommitting again? It’s okay to adjust your focus—it’s YOUR life.

    Let’s Reflect:

What’s one thing you can take off your plate today? What’s one priority you can fully commit to this week?

You don’t have to do it all to be successful. Let’s simplify, focus, and elevate your life together.

  • Why I’m Skipping New Year’s Resolutions (and You Should Too)

In this episode of The Elevated Edit Podcast, I’m diving into why I’ve ditched New Year’s resolutions for good—and how it’s completely transformed the way I approach personal growth and success. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, stressed, or like you’re spinning your wheels trying to make resolutions stick, this episode is for you.

    Key Takeaways:

    • Resolutions vs. Vision: Resolutions often come from a place of pressure or guilt, while a vision focuses on who you want to become.
    • Work Backwards: Instead of setting unrealistic goals, I focus on building the skills, habits, and mindset that will help me achieve my vision.
    • Boundaries Matter: Why sticking to strict boundaries has been one of the hardest—but most rewarding—lessons I’ve learned.
    • 2025 Vision: I’m prioritizing growing my podcast, launching a transformative course in March, hosting an elevated event in the fall, and investing in personal growth and wellness.

    Action Step:

Write down your vision for 2025 and ask:

    1. What skills do I need to build?
    2. What habits will help me grow?
    3. What connections will move me closer to my goals?

Focus on these small, intentional steps every day and watch your vision come to life.

  • The Power of Words: How Your Inner Dialogue Shapes Your Reality

Welcome back to The Elevated Edit Podcast! In today’s short but impactful episode, I’m diving into the transformative power of words—specifically, how the words you say to yourself can shape your reality.

Your inner dialogue plays a huge role in how you experience life. If your thoughts are constantly negative, it’s no surprise when negativity shows up in your day-to-day. But when you start reframing your language—yes, even if it feels cheesy—you can change your outlook and create a life filled with more clarity, joy, and opportunity.

    Key Takeaways:

    • Your words matter. What you say to yourself shapes how you feel and act.
    • Reframing takes time. It won’t feel natural at first, but it’s worth it.
    • Gratitude changes the game. Instead of saying, “This is going to be a long day,” try, “I’m thankful for the chance to do all the things today.”

    Action Step for This Week:

Catch one negative thought and reframe it into something positive. Notice how it changes your energy and perspective.

  • Selfishness Redefined: Prioritize Yourself Without Guilt

The concept of selfishness often carries a negative connotation, leading many to feel guilty when prioritizing their own needs.

In the latest episode of the Elevated Edit Podcast, Blaklee dives deep into this often-taboo topic, challenging listeners to reconsider what it really means to be selfish. Rather than equating selfishness with neglect or unkindness, the discussion reframes it as an essential component of self-care and personal well-being. Blaklee shares her own journey, revealing how her past mindset of constantly catering to others' happiness left her feeling depleted and unfulfilled. She emphasizes the importance of self-respect and setting boundaries, encouraging listeners to honor their own needs without guilt. By doing so, individuals can show up as their best selves in their relationships and responsibilities, leading to a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Blaklee also provides practical advice for incorporating small acts of self-care into daily routines, challenging the idea that taking time for oneself detracts from others. Instead, she posits that such acts can enhance one's ability to contribute positively to the lives of those around them.
