Some things are indelible in West Indian cricket history and not all of it positive. Between 1982 and 1984, 20 West Indian cricketers broke the Gleneagles agreement and decided to tour apartheid South Africa.
Author and Sports Writer Ashley Gray (@AshG66) took it upon himself to meet with as many of those cricketers as possible to unpick the real story behind each individual. Did they deserve the global condemnation they received that forced many to flee their homelands or into destitution?
We dived deep into the history of the rebel tours with Ashley and looked at it from all angles.
This episode is about more than just cricket this is a bit of a Caribbean history lesson also.
You can buy your copy of Ashley's book on Amazon or Waterstones, but check if you local independent bookstore has it and support them first.
